I just had a crazy idea. What if Nintendo gave Shonen Jump the Kid Icarus license to have a manga series based on Kid Icarus: Uprising in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. Although this sounds like something they would've done durring the games launch period. But I still think it could work. Uprising was practically a Shonen Jump Manga in game form. A carefree light hearted male protagonist with a big appetite (Pit), A female sidekick (Palutena), tons of bizarre and uniquely drawn villans, a cool anti-hero (Dark Pit), and push over tsundere female character that warms up to the male lead over time (Viridi). The only problem is that Jump will probably milk all the Story Arcs, and if adapted into an anime, will probably be bombarded with over 9000 filler episodes. What do you guys think?
