Topic: Kid Icarus: Uprising Percentage Glitch???

I was playing KIU against my friend @Prof_Clayton, got done, and exchanged how much percentage overall we had. He proceeded to give me his Treasure Hunt percentage, something we hadn't exchanged before. That's when things stopped making sense.
His percent was somewhere around 75%(Clayton help me out here), and mine was 64%. Might I mention that overall, I had 94.8% amd he had 93.5% from the save file screen.
We checked idol number. I have 250, he has 300+.
We have the same number of power portrait percent.
He has all Zodiacs, which give you quite a bit of percent(relatively). I'm missing one.
I have a higher total score by about 5-6 million.
I've played longer.
He's defeated more online enemies.
His average intensity cleared is 5.3, mine is 5.4.

Even after all this, it doesn't add up. He has more Treasure Hunt completed, more idols, and the same amount of unlocked powers.

So… does Nintendo not know it's math or is this a glitch?

I'm not exactly sure how the percentage works so I can't say.
I'm sure there's probably a reason for it.
Mine's currently 97.2% I think.

Wait @3Dangerous3Dash... did you make a new Spotpass Gem before we exchanged stats? If not then that may be the problem.

In almost every circumstance, what seems to make your percentage rise Clayton has more of. What I have more of seems not to matter.

Professor Clayton has solved yet another puzzle.

Last time I made a Spotpass gem was for that one achievement, probably a week ago. How would that affect stats?

Remake the gem and the stats will increase!

The gem records the stats from the time you make it and will not change until you remake the gem again. I discovered this when I had 35.2% (I remember exactly) for weeks, made a gem, and had 56.1%.

Oh… I'll go make a gem right now, I'll see what it says then. Come to think of it, it's been that percent an awful long time…

I think this forum has no use now, also the name is misleading.

It actually doesnt make sense still. My treasure hunt is higher, and I have more idols. The power portrait is the same percentage, and I have all zodiacs while he doesn't.
If anything, this just got more confusing.

It isn't misleading, and every time we compare, it makes less and less sense. If Clayton consistantly has more unlocked than me, how do I have more overall percentage? It doesn't make sense how that worked. He even has more hearts offered to Palutena(Clayton, btw, I was kidding abou the whole showoff thing) but still, I don't see any reason why I'm farther in the percent than Clayton is.

You both beat the game right?

@Kyloctopus we've both beaten Chapter 25, if that's what you mean.
@pixelman In a way, but we're trying to figure out why I have more percent when I have less unlocked, which makes no sense. We're not trying to figure this out in great detail or anything. But so far, almost everything that is recorded, Prof_Clayton has more. And he has more of the stuff that boosts percent, such as Treasure Hunt, Idols, and other stuff.
