Topic: Kid Icarus: Uprising - AR Card List

@Mk_II: I hate those guys... One almost killed me today.

Finland had a Kid Icarus event today. Held in Finland's first official Nintendo Shop in Helsinki which came some time ago. There you could play Kid Icarus with other people and win Event Packs which had 30 cards. Unfortunately I live far away from Helsinki so I wasn't there. It would've been awesome

So what exactly is the pre-order bonus with 24 AR cards? My pre-order is with my local EB Games store, which offers five promo cards.

I can hardly wait for this game to come out! Thursday should be SWEET!!

Some shops in Holland offered a special pre-order bonus pack of 24 cards. mind you, they charged 50 Euro for the game

45 euros with free shipping in the two major gameshops right? Gamemania and NedGame..
But I think the club nintendo deal is sweet! Bought three packs...

I can only hope my continent's Club Nintendo offers the same reward. I just know I'd really like to start a collection of those cards!

Just discovered that the AR Cards you view or battle show up as Idols in your Vault and score Hearts. Lovely!
And you can also use scanned cards from a computer screen, works perfectly.

The Club Nintendo Europe online survey for Kid Icarus Uprising asked if i would be interested in buying packs of 6 AR cards for 1 euro in local retail shops. Of course i answered i am very interested in that and i urge you all to do the same. I really really hope these packs will become available, that would be totally awesome.

Just got my 11 packs of ten cards that I bought from Club Nintendo for 200 stars each.
That adds to the ones I got at launch and the four packs of ten I got yesterday during a Kid Icarus tournament and my collection is really starting to come along.
Only got 30 doubles (including five triples) so far, which isn't too bad considering how many cards I have.
A majority of them seem to be either weapons or the Underworld Army.
Might spend the rest of my Club Nintendo stars on another 11 packs, but I'm sure I'll end up with a lot of doubles afterwards.

OK, i have a question since this is a threadabout the AR cards. I already have some cards from game Informer, @Gamer mag, the strategy guide. Now i'm just curious, has anyone seen any card packs by themselves in any retailers in the US? I tried checking em online 1st seeings how the official website says we can find em in retailers, subject to availibility, and seem to come up empty. E-mailed Nintendo to inquire, and really all the info they could give was link me to the official sitefor kid Icarus: Uprising, which doesn't seem much help at all without any word with what's happens other than maybe conventions, gatherings, etc. I really do hope they're planning on doing so, or if they're able to provide us a little more info about this seeings how the distribution of the cards can technically be treated as trading card games as well because it almost seems like at the moment they've just inconveniently thought "Hey, Let's promote the cards through special conventions so that everyone can colect and trade them" without even concidering that not everybody can afford to make trips like that.

@DaveGX - AFAIK, there are no retail places in the U.S. that sell the cards; I'm going to an event at Best Buy for Kid Icarus in a few hours, so I'll be sure to grill the rep(s) there about the situation.

Yea...I know what ya mean. The official site lists a bunch of retailers, but they don't seem to be carrying any card packs so i dunno. it's kinda like they just expected or simply just imagined gatherings, conventions, etc, to be the most fun way to collect and trade them, which again is very inconvenient on their part.

LOL! Its very funny to see some odd enemies like these guys. I wonder if they'll make them go into SSB...
