I knew nothing of Kid Icarus before Brawl. Then Kid Icarus Uprising came out and i loved the series and wanted more. So i got the other 2,Kid Icarus and Of Myth and Monsters. They are both really great . However i am still stuck on the final level in Of Myth and Monsters.
So what do you think are chances are to get a new Kid Icarus game soon.Would we be getting a 2D or 3D game?
I would personally want a 2D game as the next installment.
sigh yeah, i really wish we had1 on Wii/WIi U. I'm not suprised we won't see 1 anytime "soon", but if not at all would be a rther huge disappointment. I'm stil rather burned out about how poorly the AR Idol card marketing/promoting was handled; Pokémon TCG neverreceived this type of treatment despite being somewhat different and iss till going strong despite the video game itself. I just don't see why Nintendo neglected to get the ball rolling with the same card publishers rather than dishing out flse hopes that event trades would trigger any convenient interest in the cards.

I am stuck on the final stage of Kid Icarus: OM&M as well.
I got 3D Classics: Kid Icarus the other day, and I gotta say... It's harder then I though. :/
You found the 3D classics 1 hard?? Ah man, well I'll admit sometimes the dungeons are a bit of a hassle and confusing sometimes, but man once you get it down it's easy as pie! i have so many memories of when I played the original, the little things I did wrong, trying to get the best ending which i eventually did, etc. Somehow this time around, though, and it's been a reall long time since, I found most of it rather easy, not quite the hassle it used to be for me.

I usually just buy $50 prepaid cards now that they have em when my balance starts running low. Big time saver since games don't cost so much on the 3DS. Hopefully Nintendo Network will becomea regular part of it someday and maybe allow us to merge IDs with Wii U IDs.

If we can't get a Sakurai sequel, I'd like to see one of these
A. A remake of Kid Icarus: Uprising for Wii U with more content and such (especially in the multiplayer department), especially want DLC abilities because Magnus needs a more developed backstory.
B. An eShop title with the same 2D style of the first 2 Kid Icarus games (albeit with several Uprising elements such as chapters, adjustable difficulty and more weapons)
C. A new vision by another first/second-party.
This is a signature.

I thought exactly that. To have a 2D eshop title like the first 2.Pit could try helping out another goddess because Pauletena told him to. I would love that to happen
-New control options with touchscreen a remaining option (Show people how necessary flicking is)
-More alternate paths, maybe a couple of levels with a bit more exploration.
-A few chapters in 2D (with a jump button added)
-Again, DLC options
-Include secondary weapons while (if necessary) trim down the weapon list to make things more balanced.
-Seriously, more fleshed-out multiplayer

From my understanding, though, it did bring back a bit of old and new as well. I'd be more curious to see what they could come up with next as a follow-up on Wii U considering the new characters and added stories/paths or however that works. If so, I'd still like to see a workable control scheme for Wii remote and nunchuck because to me, I just kinda see the stylus taking the place of a remote for aiming and probably better movement could be handled via nunchuck analog, as well as controls for the WIi U gamepad itself of course, and touchscreen.
^As I will always say, the stylus is imperative to the gameplay because you need the flick mechanic to make rapid turns. Using the Wiimote to flick would be pretty awkward, and don't even try to say dual-analog.
