Topic: Just Another N3DS SD Card Question

I know there's a lot of 'em on here right now, and in fact I myself posted one a couple of days ago, so sorry, but here's one more:
I just got my N3DSXL (One day before official UK release, yay!), and right now it's charging. I have never turned it on, and it is not a Special Edition one, just a standard Metallic Black. Is it ok if I launch it first time without the MicroSD that came with it, or should I keep that in, set up the system, and then swap to my bigger and better one? I don't want to risk messing up any software or something. Thanks in advance.

Put in the card you plan to use for that system.

I really don't like the navigation bar of Nintendo Life continuously reappearing while browsing!!

Thanks. So I don't need to start with the one Nintendo shipped with it? I can just start straight away with my better one?

SD card has never something to do with the system OS. All the nintendo OS and start app software are built into the 3Ds itsself
( the 3ds got its own internal memory for that ) and dont rely on any sd card to operate. Hope that helped :3

Thank you also, I wasn't entirely sure how that stuff worked.
