Not sure how many of you are aware of this, but Batman: Arkham Origins has long been dated for Japanese release on December 5, 2013 for the Wii U, as well as the other platforms. Alongside side this game, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate will concurrently be available on that date, however, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are only releasing that game for the PlayStation Vita, leaving Japanese Nintendo 3DS owners out of reach!
This is a very strange move on WBIE's behalf, considering the much larger install base of the Nintendo 3DS in Japan, and growing. Whilst it is true that the PlayStation Vita's fortunes are getting better in Japan as of late, why would WBIE deny a still-much-bigger install base this title?!
I would understand if we were referring to the Wii U game (which is not getting the online multiplayer component of the game to start with), but this is a Nintendo 3DS game, completely different from the home console entry!
What do you guys think of this mockery by WBIE Japan's own hands?
