That's Easter Sunday.

Maybe I should continue that game of Steel Diver that's been sitting around almost five years.

That first year though, what a shiny DSi I've got there.
I think one of the first games DS games I tried on it was my JP Arkanoid DS. But I don't remember if I actually used it over my original DS phat in that time. Having only SD, then OoT3D and the Ambassador games when they released.

Tis a shame I was never a ambassador, but it has been a good handheld! has many great games so far and hopefully many more to come.

My first 3DS game was OOT3D and I had the original black 3DS, sadly don't have my original any more as I got my N3DS XL (black) and 3DS XL (dream team), don't remember what my first download game was. Had lots of great fun with the system and no doubt more to come...maybe we can play a game online sometime

Sp00ky scary skeleton back to play games and dew other fine things indead!

I bought mine in 2011, and it's still in excellent state (except for the analog rubber I lost while playing code of princess). Crazy to think it's been half a decade.

It's a shame that Advance Wars and WarioWare skipped the console, but other than this I really enjoyed it. Triple Deluxe and ALBW became some of my favorites on their series. I also had fun with 3D Land (even though it didn't do much new), FE: Awakening, AA: Dual Destines, Layton and the Mask of Miracles, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Shantae and The Pirate's Curse, the Gunman Clive Games, VLR...

Really looking forward for Zero Escape 3, AA6 and Kirby: Planet Robobot.

This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.

I love the 3DS so much more than I ever did the DS. Sometimes I'm even surprised what pretty pictures this handheld will produce for me. So many great games, everyone knows it. Also love that it gave me access to a few Japanese DS games I was always interested in, specifically the Ganebare Goemon (Mystical Ninja) game that never made it to the west. Also the virtual console yeeeaaaaaaahhh! So many GB games I didn't get to play back in the day, as well as a few I didn't expect to return that I had played!
Streetpassing is a great little thing. I hope they don't can it with the next handheld thingy whatever we get. Pls build on it. I always thought it was a mistake to not evolve the Everybody Votes Channel from Wii onto WiiU. Splatfests are not everybody votes.

I can't remember when I bought mines. It's a blue 3DS but it's great to be able to still play DS games on it. I have Chrono Trigger, which I would never part with. Even though I don't play it anymore (I did everything there is to do in the game when it was originally on SNES), it's one of those games that I would like to go back to in a few years and remember how amazing it is.

I also one day will get Super Princess Peach and maybe I will finish Puzzles and Dragons Super Mario edition and Super Paper Mario (I love that the Koopalings are running amuck).

An awesome handheld and it's great to bring with you when you have to be stuck at the airport if you're traveling.

I got m 3DS two days before it's official release and I've played on it every single day ever since (for both DS and 3DS game) and it's still going strong.

Despite owning pretty much every gaming device since the MasterSystem (including GP2X, Wiz, Caanoo and Pandora), the 3DS is my most used system by far.

Thankyou Nintendo for such an awesome device.

Cant explain how time flies... I remember that day when I got my blue 3DS with OOT and just played with the little games and options on the system before even starting to actually play. I later got ridge racer 3D, dead or alive dimensions and ghost recon shadow wars which have been a blast.
later on, I made it pretty much an RPG machine- tales of the abyss, heroes of ruin, bravely default, fire emblem, fantasy life... so many great RPG titles.

but aside from the games, the console itself has its own charm. something about the design, the little apps, the home menu and of course the 3D. it was like the excitement from the DS, but even bigger and greater =]

Still sporting my launch day Aqua Blue 3DS, lol.

I know people give it flak, but IMO, that first year was pretty good (SSFIV, Samurai Warriors: Chronicles, Dead or Alive Dimensions, OoT3D, Ace Combat, SM3DL, & MK7). With all those, the ambassador games, and the first eShop games, there was a lot to play, IMO.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

I got my Aqua Blue 3DS a bit latter (like 6 months latter) on a trip to a tax free zone. I didn't had any games for the couple first months! Until I got Lego Pirates of the Caribbean.

I have a chronic lack of time, for everything.

Now playing: Okami HD, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

I bought my 3DS online in summer 2011 and it arrived on 23.6.2011 with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. I upgraded to 3DS XL once the Pokémon X & Y special edition 3DS came out and I've stuck with it since then. I've seen no need to upgrade to a New 3DS. I've carried my 3DS with me almost everywhere I go and according to my Activity Log, I've walked 4,491,865 steps with it in my pocket (no wonder I have holes in my pockets). The total time I've played on my 3DS is 3218 hours and 33 minutes with Super Smash Bros. for 3DS leading the way with 267 hours and 13 minutes. I have 15 physical 3DS games as well as over 32GB worth of games downloaded (retail games, download exclusives, virtual console).

The 3DS has such a good selection of games on its own, both retail and download, but backwards compatibility with DS games makes it even better. It's by far my favorite console of all time. I love it and in a way I don't want it to be replaced by a new console even though the new console might be just as good and hopefully I'll be able to play 3DS and DS games on it as well.

I just noticed that the 3DS was actually released exactly 5 years ago from today in Europe. Thank you Nintendo for making such an excellent handheld!

It's its, not it's.

i didn't get one until the price cut and the first game I got was Starfox64 3D. i really loved it. traded mine in for the XL when it was released. Now I'm using the NEW 3DS because I like the smaller size better.

Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury

Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword

Other than getting the XL model of the New 3DS, this almost exactly mirrors my history with the 3DS.

Easily the best handheld I've ever owned.
