Topic: Isn't it annoying when...

Isn't it annoying when moderators lock your thread for no apparent reason other than "there is another thread on this topic that has a billion pages already open, make sure you post in there" and you don't have the time to trawl through the billion of pages to find your answer?

The worst thing is, even if it's a simple question, the moderators won't let your question be answered before locking the thread. For God's sake, lock it after someone's answer their questions.

There's a search function if you're looking for a thread. Just post in there. I don't see the problem?

Not specifically looking for a thread... If you're in a thread that has 389 pages and you were looking for a specific Q&A, are you going to trawl through all the pages to find it?

Just post your own question. If you click on the thread it automatically takes you to the first unread post.

What the heck are you talking about? I mean if you want to look for it and it's already been answered before. Or if there are on-going conversations in a massive thread you may not want to be spammed by it.

Ask the question again. If it's been recently been answered, then someone will quote the answer. If not, then people will probably answer it anyway.

We prefer not to discuss such things on the forums. If you feel like your thread (or someone else's) was locked unfairly, you can use the Contact Form and the Community Administrator (TingLz) will answer any questions.
