I thought Nintendo fans hated FPS because of how brown everything looked.
Nah, it's because the FPS lacks innovation.
And besides. They don't have the time, not with having platforming with such innovative plots as having to rescue Princess Peach for the 100th time.
Yeah because Nintendo just sold, Zelda, Metroid, Fzero, Bayonetta 2, wii sports, the last story, Rhythm Heaven, SSB, Pikmin, Mother, Fire Emblem, Famicom Wars, Yoshis island, WarioLand, WarioWare, Xenoblade, Ouendan, Brain Age, Kirby, Excite, Art Style, Chibi-Robo, golden sun, sin and punishment, the wonderful 101, custom Robo, Pokemon, devil world, capt rainbow, disaster day of crisis, hotel dusk, trace memory, and donkey kong just so they can keep Mario.... Oh wait

@HarmoKnight: Naming all those games was unnessecary. Chocobo was just joking.
Also the 3DS doesn't really need an FPS. The market is already saturated with them, we don't need more.
That's the thing though, IF it's a joke I've been hearing it for 2 and a half years and it's getting on my nerves, and I know you don't have to love Nintendo to be on this site and stuff, but constantly bashing shouldnt be allowed either, heck even I can appricate other systems and there games, I don't like FPSes and I think they are genaric, but I can respect the people who like them

I would not mind a console level COD game on 3DS...

Sonic is AMAZING!! Nintendo is AMAZING!! I AM AMAZING!!

Yeah, you're right. Nintendo has all these great franchises and Activision only publishes Call of Duty...
Oh. Hang on.
^Is there a reason you always choose to bash Nintendo, whether sarcastic or blunt?
I tried bashing my Nintendo consoles once. It hurt my hand
Honestly, I think it would be best if we had a console that did not have a huge FPS market. Almost every other console (including PCs) have become infested with FPS titles and while they are not all bad (some of them are really good), they are becoming tiring.

Look. It's not that I disagree with you or anything, but you need to change your avatar back to that Link thing. It's hard to take you seriously as AccaDacca.
That's only because of the lack of innovation. If the developers are down to make something as unique as Portal, or a game as emotion inducing as Homefront, or just a simple FPS with a few new twists, then I'm sure it's make for a much more impressive and unique experience.
This is a signature.
Link goes here now.
Screw you.
I will say I am genuinely bored with the modern day FPS and am glad that most of the upcoming FPSs are actually trying different. I hope any possible FPS on 3DS does something different from the typical modern day shooter as well because it is so tired.
I know there are a ton of FPSs out there, but the thing is, none of them are on the 3DS, yet. The DS games don't count. I want someone to make a true FPS for the 3DS with beautiful 3D and maybe even gyrosensor/accelerometer controls. The thing that I think is stopping development of such a game is the controls. Most developers may want to push the system to its maximum potential. Leaving out some buttons in the control scheme wouldn't help with that...
My idea is to give it the MGS:SE 3D controls where all of the "traditional face button functions" are on the D-pad and you rotate the camera with the face buttons; then the other functions would be on the touch screen. Once the CPP was equipped, the right slider moves the camera, the face buttons have their traditional functions, the D-pad has the touchscreen options, and the touchscreen remains the same.
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Wow, idk where to start... I never said activision, I meant FPSes in general, make a list of the amount of FPSes released in the past 5 years and compare it to the amount of Mario titles in the past 5 years... You know what I'll give you platformers not just Mario ones that way you have more to go by, and if you need to as an alternative compare the amount of Mario platformers to COD games in the past 10 years. Oh an to bash is to make fun of, IDK how you decided to go with the other meaning when I'm pretty sure you knew what he meant....
You were making no coherent point whatsoever.
I was pointing out that Mario games suffer the same "lack of innovation" as the COD games - ie both series change plenty up from one game to the next, but if you want to, it's easy to pretend they're the same game every time. Mario's new levels are no different to COD's new maps - you're doing the same thing each time with each new game, but you're doing it in a different context. it's completely unreasonable to say it's ok for Nintendo to do it, but Activision is somehow in the wrong for doing it in the COD series.
Your response was to list a bunch of random Nintendo games. Why? To show Nintendo does different games? Well so does freaking Activision.
As for the "bashing" comment. I'm not in high school any more. I grew out of "bashing" things years ago.

This is because when Nintendo tries to innovate, people get mixed feelings about the games. So basically, consumers are too into "sameness", so much so, most DON'T want to try out a new innovative game. The video game market is practically filled with 7 year-olds, in a sense.
Fine I deleted my comment, I did that because Im just going to go by my opinion from now on it's all good. COD is innovative I like the moon in BO, and the zombie mode is fun.
Let's just go with this saying then: what one person finds ugly, another person sees as a goddess
