What don't you like, or what you might not like about the 3DS? Or what are you worried about that might be a problem?

I'm wondering how the accelerometer is going to work with the 3D viewing angle. Imagine tilting to steer in a racing game, but then the 3D effect becomes blurry, and you crash into a tree.

Well, like everyone is...kinda worried about this whole...sweet spot thing. I'm sure Nintendo will probably fix the issue...then again it probably won't be as bad as everyone thinks....still though. >_>

You could just turn the 3D effect off. I'd prefer driving on the 3DS via the joystick thing.

I know. But don't you think that things speeding towards you and/or at you in a racing game is going to be awesome?

Well yeah. Here's a solution: Use the joystick when the 3D is on, and motion controls when the 3D is off. Seems fair enough.

.....If the options are there. XD

The buttons, especially the shoulder ones. They had better be a hell of a lot more durable than the DS, especially since Kid Icarus apparently makes ample use of them.

Ok, but I don't mean that this is a problem for just racing games... Think about all the great tilting-based games for Ipod and Iphone? Doodle Jump, Tilt to Live, Labyrinth 2, just to name a few. What if developers decide to make some tilting based 3D games? Either way, this is still a problem...

Hi.

Oregano

It depends how much you tilt them.... I think there's much more tolerance(if that's the right word) for twisting vertically with the screen than horizontally. I'm really not sure though.

You could turn your head so it is coordinated with the movement of the 3DS, so you would remain in the sweet spot whilst using motion controls.
Also, having the stylus in the back of ther 3DS will be an issue...

Well I hope that the buttons are a lot more responsive, and I really hope that the 3D effect comes out at you instead of going in depth more. And I hope that the sweet spot is really big. Just imaging being on a bumpy car ride and you can't enjoy the 3Dness.

the placement of the earphone port- the middle of the console will make it hard to listen to it w/ earphones while holding it in your pocket

The lefty issue, of course. A design flaw in the system that could see me being unable to enjoy entire GAMES such as Kid Icarus Uprising.

To a far lesser degree, what pikmaniac said sounds like a bit of problem as well. I usually hold my DSi on my abdomen whilst laying down. The headphone port in the middle would probably be very uncomfortable.

My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

You could find headphones that have a crooked jack on it, like this

Earlier today, while riding my bike, I thought what would happen if I fell and one of my eyes got scraped out. Strangely, the first thing I thought was Now the 3D effect on the 3DS won't work

I can definitely see how this will be an issue... at least for me. I am so used to where the stylus port is, and how to hold it there, and take it in and out, that it would take me a while to adjust.

I have gotten used to the placement of the stylus "sheath" in the cyrrent DS design, and adapting to this change will be difficult.

Isn't the 3D aspect of the 3DS more like a window instead of objects being able to fly at you?
