Yeah, um, you don't live in Seattle with a budget of about $100 a month to spend on stuff that's not needed. (snip)
Fun fact, stores here will sell you a 20 year old laptop for $300, used.

Well, that's true. How about you work at home? You sound like a smart person. Get something going to get you income so that you don't have to settle for $100/month.

Just because the store sells expensive junk, doesn't mean you have to buy it from them. There are other resources.

If I did that, they'd charge more for rent anyway, then I'd still have $100 a month extra. Seriously, my city sucks, but thanks for the compliment. What I want to do, my computer cannot handle and I don't have the connections for, make CGI music videos. I will avoid turning this into a "woe is me" thread though, and just say, video chat for the 3DS could open windows for a lot of people, especially if it could work over the Nintendo Zone connections.

Friend list is full, I will be clearing room for Bravely Default soon though. Colors! 3D Gallery, My Blog

Wouldn't that be nice. Video chat at McDonalds. I'd love for it to happen!

Well, you know your situation best. Good luck with your life!
