Nintendo’s online UK store is currently doing 2DS XL with 3 games for £135.

One game is preloaded on the system and you can choose from a range of other games for the others.

There is a black and green version with Mario Kart 7 preload or a white and lavender version with Tomadochi Life preloaded.

The range of games to choose from include Mario Maker and Pikmin I believe, so some good choices.

@rsbhj nintendo stopped making 3ds/2ds games I'm pretty sure, and a lot of the games are already on the switch family except for things like ever oasis or rusty's real deal baseball and rhythm heaven - but if you are skeptic on the kids breaking the switch lite (which i would recommend over the 3ds/2ds) get a screen protecter and a case.

TBH, I would love the original 2DS if it had the upgraded internals. My dream is a 2DS with the XL size screens.

Those are some really specific examples considering there are tons of 3DS games that haven't been ported to Switch
