Topic: Is the 2DS worth it?

I have a $30 coupon for Staples and I was wondering if the 2DS is good. It's $129.99 there but if I use the coupon, I'll get it for $99. I might give the 2DS to my brother.

I know people with 2DSs and they like it. I have a 3DS XL but never use the 3D. The only problem I personally would have with a 2DS is that they don't fold, making it more difficult to carry with me. I think the 2DS is a good system for its price

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I know it's a handheld but I personally rarely take it out of the house.

Dude I paid 192 dollars for mine (2500 MX pesos, the base price in my country and yes it is the cheapest model) and I love it.

If you don't mind the lack of 3D or folding then it is completely worth it

don't forget the fact there's only one speaker(but that's what earphones are for)

The speaker thing is not really an issue... Since the 3DS is not exactly a sound powerhouse in any of its models, headphones are recommended for all.

The speaker in the 2DS is pretty capable though. It's way louder than the XL's two.

I like the 2ds for some reason is comfortable and it works really well with the design.

I think the 2DS is a much more comfortable system to hold in your hands. It feels like the GBA, PSP, and Vita in terms of comfort, and the larger L & R buttons are much easier to press. In many ways, it makes me think of a what a modern Game Boy would be like.

One thing to keep in mind, the 2DS has slightly longer battery life compared to the normal 3DS.

I would say unless a bigger screen matters to you, get a 2DS. My eyes could never register the 3D, and so few games use it anyway it's not a make or break feature of the system.

So, I say get a 2DS over a normal 3DS system, and over the XL if the screen size does not matter to you.

I wish they sold Xbox 360s at Staples for cheaper. I really need to use my coupon before it expires later this month

You can get a refurbished 3DS from Nintendo for $95 + shipping, sans coupon, and it's guarnateed to work as new with a valid warranty. Then use the Staples coupon for something else(like 3DS screen protectors, stylus, a 3DS game, and/or etc). That's what I would do.
