@RR529 I can't answer that question but if you're looking for a good sidequest, have you done the Catalyst weapons sidequest? The hardest boss in the game is at the end of that.

Don't you have to be on a second playthrough to do that? Also, I meant a bridge from Sheridan to Belkend, not from Sheridan to Kaitzur (as I originally said).

No, you're thinking of the Abyss replica factory.
What about the Albiore upgrades that allow you to fly safely through snowstorms, fog, ect. to get to certain areas. Do you need those (which I missed out on)?

I just checked sine I had forgotten whether you need it or not and you need one of the Albiore upgrades to get to the area where the boss is after getting all the Catalyst weapons so you'll have to do it in another playthrough.
i keep getting lost in this game, and it's really pissing me off. even gFAQs isn't helping, and it takes forever to trek around on foot when the albiore can't land... i'm starting to think i'm done :/

Try this FAQ. Its the one I used and I found it very helpful. If you think you'll get lost often, why not have keep a tab on the internet browser on your phone with it on. Then you can have your phone beside you with that FAQ up if you ever need it while playing the game.

@FonistofCruxis: That's the one i've been using. It's not helping, I'm afraid. @mieu-fire: how can I get lost in this game? very easily. @RR529: I'm not stuck in a normal dungeon, I'm stuck trying to figure out what part of an overworld dungeon i'm supposed to be in or on or whatever. It's the Meggiora Highlands, i'm trying to get to its sephiroth and i'm constantly having to dodge enemies while trying to find where i'm supposed to be, the slow movement and all, it really makes this a chore to play.

here
I finally finished this game. Yay! I really liked the story, but I liked the characters and the overall gameplay of Symphonia better. Do you have to start completely over on a second playthrough? I think it would be cool to get some of the stuff I couldn't get the first time through, but I don't think I'm willing to play for another 60 hours to do it when there are so many other games for me to play.
^While there is some content only available in a 2nd playthrough, you can use all the Grade you built up during your first playthrough to buy perks to make it easier the second time around (carry over money, start out with higher HP, earn 10X exp, ect).

^Yes, you still have to start at the beginning. (If you're just using it as a random example, ignore this, but the Catalyst Weapon sidequest can be completed in a 1st playthrough. Although, if you missed out on the Albiore upgrades, you'll have to start over, because you need them to complete the sidequest, and you can only get them at a certain point).

Sorry for reviving such an old thread, but does anyone know how much gald you have to give to the old man in Sheridan, for the bridge to Kaitzur to be built? I have more gald than I know what to do with (somewhere around 2,500,000), but you can only give him 999 gald at once, so I want to know how long I'm going to have to do it (or if it will even be built).
On a side note, this is easily my favorite 3DS game. I've beaten it months ago, but every time I return to it, I'm always finding new stuff to do (whether it be finding a random treasure chest I passed on before, or randomly initiating some sort of side quest).
He wants 1 million. You should be able to give it alla att once (if you have that amount) when he says he has gotten the needed tpamount of cash sleep att the inn 7 times. The bridge should be completed then.
