Topic: Is Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate region locked?

So my friend of mine wants to get me a copy of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and give it to me when he comes to visit. The thing is: He lives in Holland. Would a European copy work on my American 3DS? I doubt it, but I can't find any solid info online.

All 3DS games are region locked sorry... He can always order it from Amazon.com and send it to your house.
