Yes yea and oh yeah! I can't even look at the regular 3ds anymore. It's a Hugh difference and a nice design. Longer battery as well. It willmake you forget you even had a 3ds.

I've been wondering if I should get an XL myself I didn't like how the DSi XL was but the 3DS XL from the Demos Stands feels good I might wait to see if there's an actual upgrade in larger form first though

No, I think you shoud save a little more money and get a vita. Because you already can play all the 3ds games and getting a vita would give you access to another systems game libary. Which IMO is much better than just getting a bigger screen for something you already have.

Currently playing: Fire Emblem: Awakening and Mount and Blade: Warband
Current backlog: Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (part way through) and the Unfinished Swan (unplayed).

You already have a 3DS? Then no, don't buy an XL. If you want a better battery life, you can spend $20-$30 on an extension that greatly increases your life. I wouldn't go for it. You're better off using that money for the games for the system.

It's hard to say. Most people say you should only buy it if you don't already own a 3DS. However I bought one even though I already had a 3DS, and it was totally worth it. It's so much more comfortable, and it's way easier to use. The screen is also really nice, and not having to worry about your battery running out all the time is a great bonus. I'd say you should do what I did. Wait until EBGames has some sort of trade in deal, and then trade in your original 3DS to help fund the XL. Yeah it kind of sucks that you end up buying two systems before you get the good one, but the XL is genuinely THAT much better. Seriously, it makes the original 3DS look like a piece of garbage like the original GBA or DS phat.

I would say no. The XL I tried out at my Best Buy felt cheapy and the larger screens don't really mean too much to me..

I never judge how a handheld system feels based on a store demo. They're always grimy and dirty, and never feel right due to them being chained to something. Besides, there's a mentality I've found that if I try a store demo of something I'm not entirely convinced about, I'll be looking for any excuse to not like it so I don't buy it.

I felt the same way when I first tried the 3ds demo. I was less then impressed. Good thing I didn't base my opinion on just that. At first I thought the xl was a minor step up. After a few days with it I couldn't even imagine going back to that tiny screen. It really is a well built system.

i dont like the 3ds xl.
it is too big for my taste and the headphone jack is not in the middle which would really annoy when playing games with a stylus and hold the 3ds with only the left hand

I adore my 3dsXL, it's super comfortable for me and the screens are the perfect size for games.
I would go with that.

Emaan~@Konata, call your friends posers :3

Konata~You guys give such great advice.

it is definitely worth it, I wasn't originally going to get an XL but i'm glad I did. it is definitely worth it. Plus there's a new color pink/white and a new bundle blue XL with Mario Kart 7

looking forward to Mario Golf 3D, Mario & Luigi Dream Team, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner Soul Hackers, Project X Zone and Pokemon X & Y.

Hell yeah! I was skepticle at first but then I took the courage and sold my 3ds to get one at launch and I have never looked back. Love it.

The only negative thing to say when I got it was they didn't improve the sound volume, it's still rather low for my liking. Even my old fat grey ds beats it in the sound department.

How did I remedy the problem? I bought a speaker system to hook into the earphone port. :)

Well if you live in Europe, yes because you get a free 3DS game,if you register it on Club Nintendo.
Even if you didn't get a free game,I would recommend you do get an XL,as it is really the best way to play 3DS games.
