Yeah, just because you can't collect stupid little starbit things that means they can't make a SMG game on the 3DS. I mean, it's not like they could take them out or anything, right? Oh, but then it wouldn't be SMG! The biggest part of SMG was collecting lamebits! Even it it played the same, had the cool gravity stuff and took place in galaxies, it just wouldn't be the same!

Collecting starbits was a big part of the Galaxy games, which is why the game is tailored for the Wii. Not to mention using launch stars and spinning.

Super Mario Galaxy should be left alone. Give us a new Mario game or a Sunshine sequel.

i think it would be awsome for 3DS. obviously there would be minor changes in gameplay but the essence would remain the same i mean we can trust nintendo to not fail in that department

I have an unusual kinda lame idea but instead of playing as Mario why not a have a sim like game where you're your Mii on a normal day in the Mushroom Kingdom helping toads do things exploring but also you could kinda build also adding onto the mushroom kingdom with your own style. But by helping toads do things they cant like one toad asks you to go get some kind of fruit that can only be found in the forest and you need to go get it for him so he get make a special dinner so. Your Mii goes to the forest and goes through a NSMB like game through a forest like place once you get the fruit you tale it back to the toad he thanks you and gives you money for it which you could use to buy some VC games like Donkey Kong and clothing stuff like that also Nintendi could update the game often to add new missions and stuff like that also you could Check other peoples Mushroom Kingdoms online as you're Mii and chat and stuff like that with other people at peoples MKs like i said kinda lame but juat an idea not completely thought out either.

I sincerely hope they don't make another SMG game. I love SMG and its sequel and think that but they're two of the best games ever but a third one would be too unoriginal. I would much rather Nintendo did something more original with the next 3D Mario platformer and if the next one is for 3DS, I hope that it is in the in the same league as the first four 3D Mario platformers unlike Super Mario 3D land.

Another Galaxy game would just ruin the series. Especially how both games have very similar beginnings and endings. Another game like Mario 3D Land would be widely accepted.

I've been thinking about this....weird. I think a galaxy remake for the 3DS could be pretty great. If done right. Perfect design...graphics wise

Well wasn't it announced they were making a new, 2D super mario bros game for 3DS. I hope it is like super mario bros 2.

The reason for that is because Galaxy 2 pretty much retcons everything that happened in Galaxy 1.
