Wouldn't it be great in Nintendo modified the 3DS in such a way that the 3DS top screen could detach from the bottom screen, but could be played attached or detached (wirelessly). This design could solve the issue people experience - the system moves while playing, which subsequently, causes the 3D effect to sway. Is this design feasible? Couldn't Apple easily release a dual analog wireless controller for the iPad 2? What ideas do you have?

@ the original post: That's kind of a far-fetched idea, and as lz said, very expensive.
On thing I find to be puzzling though is that absense of a second circle pad. Dual analog sticks have already proven themselves to be very useful in camera control. Why didn't Nintendo include it?
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
@Tj92 you have a good point there. Maybe its because there wasnt much space to put them :/ I mean they could possibly put the number buttons lower and the 2nd there but that would make the number buttons awkward.
Yeah they could move the ABXY buttons up and put the second circle pad underneath it. That's where it's located in remotes that feature dual analog sticks anyway.
Oh, and I don't particularly like the new location of the stylus. In the older models, I used to be able to whip it out quickly and tuck it back in without missing a beat. Now if I want to use the stylus, I have to turn over the 3DS and search for it. It's very inconvenient...well, at least for right handers. It's great for left handed people, but I find that design choice to be odd as most people are right handed. Maybe they could have two styluses in two slots, one on either side of the 3DS, so both left and right handed players could be happy. ....Is that a bit of a stretch?

@Tj92. I think Nintendo could have fit another analog slider into the system, but decided it wasn't significant enough to include it. For this, I think Sony's PSP2 will be a bigger contender this time around.

for the stylus, a simple plastic thing you can attack or detach on the side. something that could hold that style when you play, for quick use and store. but yes, it much less practical behind it. some games made me use the stylus now and then, now im holding the stylus permanently. oh well, its not a chore neither...
the top screen on the other hand could use more solidity. i fear for its long term use. it doesnt feel as solid as my DSlite. and the DSlite had more angle to play with. the 3ds now unfold totally when you use a wide angle to it. (sorry for my odd grammar, im mainly french here)

Both of those points are the only things I would change about the design too. Also, I've noticed it's hard to connect at wi-fi spots at places like McDonalds and Starbucks. The 3DS connects to the router but then fails to connect to the internet. Not sure what's up with that because it was probably the easiest wi fi set up I've ever encountered when I set up my home connection but out and about, mine's useless.

really ? ill go walk around town at my lunch break tommorow. ill check mcdonalds, PresseCafé, starbuck, and some minor places around. so far, i didnt really had to connect wifi around. but its a good thing to verify for when the web browser will be implemented. i wanna know if internet will be accessible fast or not.its good to have that feature, but if it takes tooo long, it kills a lot of usefulness...
I honestly don't see the use of a second slide pad for the 3DS if the market is similar to the DS
It won't be similar to the DS. Because of the drastic increase in graphical capabilities, the 3DS will be able to play games that would greatly benefit from a second circle pad to control the camera more effectivey. Games like Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 3DS, or even Monster Hunter would easily make use of a second circle pad.
