Topic: I think a Persona game just got announced for 3DS!

I really have no idea what's going on, and I think Atlus just pulled off a huge troll. I can't speak a word of Japanese, but their reveal thing that's going on right now features a trailer for 'Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth', a game featuring chibi Persona 4 characters on the 3DS!

I hope this wasn't the big reveal they were teasing...

Nah, there's a few reveals. There's a new P4 arena for PS3 too. I think they're leading up to a Persona 5 reveal. At least I hope they are. I'll be all over Persona Q, but Persona 5 is long over-due. They've milked 3 and 4 so much, they have to move onto 5….

Edit: Next up is a P4 rhythm game for the Vita. Again, I'd buy that in an instant… but this can't just be all about P4 spin-offs…

Persona 5 for vita would be super.

Sounds like the 3DS game is being done by the Etrian Odyssey game, so… there's still hope for P5 here…

Hopefully this is released in the UK but seeing as Atlus suck at getting Nintendo releases localised in the region (SMTIV anyone) I'm not going to be expecting it anytime soon.

I hope P5 is released in Europe or at leaat region free (not another Arena situation).

Huh Arena was released in europe.

Eventually! It took a ridiculously long time and to this day remains one of the few region locked PS3 games, so people couldn't even import it.

Well, so far it looks like Atlus will be receiving another 160 or so of my dollars in 2014/15 (SMTvFE, PQ, P5).

Like, 4 new Persona games! What wonderful news to hear first thing in the morning. And the best part is that this from Atlus. Doesn't every game that's part of the Persona franchise get brought over to N.A. pretty promptly?

Looks like I'm getting a PS3 next year.

Awesome! All these upcoming Persona games are on consoles/handhelds I own! Well, I don't own a PS Vita yet... but I will be getting one eventually (I even bought games for it already to make sure I do get one eventually! Haha.) Very excited that a Persona game is coming to the 3DS though (Currently my favorite gaming system atm!) I love the Etrian Odyssey series and since this is directed by Daisuke Kaneda of the Etrian Odyssey series, I'm very excited!!

I'll betcha PQ's a Dungeon Crawler.

But Persona 5 is excitement.

I'm getting all of these when they release here in the US.

Saw this earlier, i called it that Persona 5 would be a PS3 game but no one listened to me even though it makes perfect sense from a financial point of view. Super happy they are doing a 3DS game as well as PA2 even though we already knew about that.

We might see Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth 2014 fall in the west if they localise it fast but were not getting P5 or P4A2 until mid 2015 at the earliest. I loved P4A so i hope they add at least 10 new characters for the second installment.

I pretty much expected a spin-off for the 3DS which is fine since I have a PS3 and will be able to play P5. I'll probably get both.

It's a spin off game by the director of Etrian Odyessy 4. Nice.
