Hi guys, I just got a new 3DS XL for Christmas & I've been trying too do a System Transfer between my new one & my old one & I keep getting Error Code 005-4240.

Any ideas, because this is getting really really frustrating. >_<

the 3DS and Wii U eShops are both currently experiencing technical difficulties. Without access to the eShop, a System Transfer cannot take place. Next time, i'd suggest going straight to Nintendo.com for an answer — all it took was two seconds for me to find your answer.

I'd suggest trying again later (or perhaps tomorrow?) after the initial 'omg new 3DS/Wii U' furor has died down a bit. Best of luck!
