you can't watch videos on the 3DS internet browser, but you can if you glitch the youtube app. watch non-youtube videos on your 3DS!

I was skeptical, but I tried all of the steps, and it worked.

3DS can now play videos from sites like NintendoLife.

Holy shizbuiscuits! That's awesome! The YouTube App isn't half bad after all~ a bit cheaply made, apparently, but more useful than intended, too!

let's just hope google won't block this "feature" in the future

Hey now wait a second... I'm not getting these two buttons at the bottom like it shows here:

There's no "settings" or "sign out" buttons for me... D:

keep in mind that the official 3ds browser is a system app that can be used while the system is running other game/app in the background while this is a full app that needs all the system for itself.

Yeah I don't think the main CPU can handle games and videos at the same time

I didn't have those buttons either, but I did have a cog looking icon at the top that will take you to the settings page.

I did it through that.

OK, so yeah, it definitely works... but viewing anything other than YouTube seems to be royally screwed up, though... it's really hard to navigate, say, NintendoLife... aaaaannnnndddd I just got an error... >.<

For some reason I don't have the Google + button, so I can't do this trick...

I've never had it crash while using this backdoor, but don't get me started on regular youtube.

I don't see how they could have missed something like this, so my guess is that it's somewhat intentional.

Maybe giving you the option to download Google Chrome and having it not work wasn't on purpose, but it makes sense that using a browser within an app makes this sort of thing work.

EDIT: You can watch any video you want. I wonder if I can watch movies on this thing...
EDIT 2: Yes, yes you can watch movies on this thing. It should say "Your phone is" something and it'll give you a download option underneath somewhere, click that and bingo, 240p movies.

I heard the buffer for movies though isn't good, what site have you gotten movies to work on?

@Svaethier Google any old film. Before 1990 preferably, you can watch most of them online for free now a days. Not sure if its exactly legal... I doubt its illegal as I'm not downloading or selling it.
