Always off. Why on earth would I turn it on? No thanks, I'm not in the mood for hurting eyes or useless gimmicks today.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Last time I checked, I'm the only one who is affected by the way I play my games.

I usually play with the 3D full on. About the only time I turn it down is if someone is looking over my shoulder at what I'm doing, and I know the 3D can't be seen from that angle.
@WaveBoy Aren't you usually accusing people of being "graphics whores" though? Surely it's quite easy to "have fun in FLATland" seeing as fun in video games doesn't come through graphics.
Most of the time I have it up to max. However I do sometimes play in 2D to compare. I also switch from 3D to 2D while playing. I can say with all certainty that I prefer playing with 3D all the way up.
I always, without fail, have it either all the way up or all the way down. It might as well have been a digital switch (although I do understand that many of you get eye strain from having the 3D all the way up). In fact, I absolutely refuse to play any 3DS game without the 3D all the way up, unless 1) I'm showing one of my friends or 2) the battery's almost dead and I need to save as much power as I can. To me, games just look so much more real with the 3D on; I've gotten so used to it that whenever I turn the 3D off, my first thought is "this looks so fake and lifeless in 2D". I also never have any problems with using gyro controls with the 3D on; I somehow always automatically adjust my position to get the best 3D effect without really thinking about it.
If the 3DS has not been discontinued SM3DL and MK7 are awesome games, but if the 3DS has been discontinued Sony has taken over the world. It is not true that both Sony has taken over the world and SM3DL and MK7 are not awesome games. Therefore:Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 are...
Is it just me, or has anyone else been spoiled by the 3D? I mean, no matter what, after playing my 3DS for a while then going to any non-3D system, everything just looks, "Meh" Like Skyrim for example, I know the graphics in that game are amazing and all, but everything just looks so boring and dull with out the 3D effect....
Depends on the game. Games like Bit. Trip Saga and Mighty Switch Force offer absolutely nothing to the experience (in fact, in Bit. Trip Saga, turning on the 3D in some cases lowers the framerate from 60 FPS to 30 FPS). However, when I'm playing games Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Mutant Mudds, and Zen Pinball 3D, it's all the way up.
Oh, and by the way, how in the unholy mother of crap can 3D help Xevious? It sure doesn't to me.
Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill
I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
Full-on unless it affects frame rate. As for titles that can adjust it in the options, it's case by case. Xevious is on the lowest, Urban Champion is on the highest, exitebike is one lower than max, RE:R Is fine on normal. If a game is a "graphic title" like Dream Trigger, I won't touch it with a 10 foot pole.
