For myself, its roughly 85% of the time even if I'm not playing any games online. Though it can be slow I actually surf the internet, check out the eshop all the time (even if I don't buy anything), check out Nintendo Video (though I dismiss a lot of the crappy videos), await new spot pass content from DOA Dimensions (Brilliant move by the way), see if any of my friends are online, etc.
i mostly have it off unless theres a update or to download something or play a online game which im starting to get into for portable gaming but not that much thats about it since i dont have any freinds on it
I never turn it off. If the 3DS is on in the first place (and it is almost always except when i'm sleeping at night),the wireless is on with it. I feel like its a main part of the system to always be connected. Plus how will Nintendo push content to me if my wireless switch is off? Oh, and StreetPasses! One can only open themselves to StreetPasses with wireless enabled.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

same here, the eshop and friends list are the most played software and have the most playing time, and my friends don't seem to be online a lot and are definitely not "gamers".. I have DOA and getting Tetris Axis, Zen pinball & Mario kart 7 if you're interested in these games and still have space I would like to add you
I have the wireless turned off most of the time to save battery life I only ever have it on when I want to download something from the eshop or just look around the eshop or download the newest videos from Nintendo Video or download an update or rarely play a multiplayer game or go looking for streetpasses which I rarely get anyway. Yesterday I only had the wireless on once to downloaded the new update and the new videos on Nintendo Video today I will probably only have the wireless on once to download Pushmo and the newest video from Nintendo Video.
