I sent my 3DS for repairs last Wednesday. They received it on Friday. My 3Ds's 3D effect won't turn off. That has been happening for about 1.5 months. When will I get my 3DS back? I want it back before or on friday. I sent my 3DS from new jersey, USA.

It really depends on the location your 3DS was sent to in proximity to where you live. When I sent my 3DS in last August, it took a grand total of two weeks to get from south suburban Chicago to a facility in the L.A. metropolitan area, get fixed, and be returned to me. While there's no guarantee of an exact date, you should be able to check on Nintendo's website with your Repair Order # for a package tracking number from when it left the repair facility to give you a good idea of when it'll arrive. I'm guessing that since it took two days to get to the facility, it should be back by tomorrow at the latest.

Exactly.

Unlikely to happen dude but as we're not Nintendo we can't tell you when you'll get it back. Maybe worth calling the dudes who are actually repairing your 3DS to see how long it'll take :3

"At your earliest convenience, please contact our Consumer Service Department by calling 1-800-255-3700 any time between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time, seven days a week."

Got this from them 2 days ago regarding my 3DS. Worth a shot.

@KoMiCtUrTlE - I was referring to their support website; if you still have the email with your repair number and all that, they have a tool where you can plug that number in and they'll send you info on the repair status, when they shipped your 3DS out, what service they're using to send it back to you and that service's tracking numbers so you can follow your package's progress once it's out of Nintendo's hands.

Exactly.

I've always worried about this happening as the 3D slider feels pretty flimsy.
Sucks to hear about it actually happening to someone.
Hope it doesn't turn into a common problem!

Militech is in CA, so it probably will be at your house either on Friday or Monday.

also will all my problems and issues on my 3ds be repair by warranty and do you think it will be free

Depends what sort of damage it underwent. If it was obvious user-damage such as physical damage or liquid damage, it won't be covered by warranty, but electronic faults and other such things will be if the warranty period hasn't passed yet.

What do you guy think the only thing that can probably be physical damage is the circle pad being scratch but the rest came like that out of the box so do you guys think the rest can be fixed by nintendo??,and one more thing when may i get my 3ds back if i send it in on Tuesday (7/10/12) and they received my system on Wednesday (7/11/12) I live in the Los Angeles Are California Close to Downtown but they send it to 9207 Deering Avenue Chatswoth Ca 91311

Dude - nobody here can answer that. Get in touch with the people handling your repairs/postage.

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

Good to know it only takes a week or two, I didn't know that they were only going to California. I live in Oregon, so I expect a week or less.
