@Raylax - I've had 1 hit in Huddersfield, 2 or 3 at the White Rose Centre and the ones I mentioned in Leeds. I avoid going to Bradford at all costs, despite it being the city of my birth.

Had 2 3DS's since launch, one mine the other my husbands.I took them into London (UK), 2 weeks ago, one in a PowerA expedition case and the other just in its white foam packing, both sitting together in a bag and then in another bag (so well packed!) - and the one in the expedition case got no passes (the consoles exchanged Mii's while I was putting them in sleep mode, at home, but it didn't get any more while travelling, The other console just in the white foam packing , picked up two extra Mii's.In the mean time I had ordered a 2nd expedition case. (not knowing that there may be a problem)I tested the cases out at home.Put 1st console in sleep mode & put back in case.Put 2nd console in sleep mode & put in case. They didn't link.Put one console on top of its case & the other still in case. Did not link.Brought both out - and the green light flashed within 10 seconds or so.
On the face of it it looks as if this particular case prevents street pass from working - I fully admit I might be looking at this wrongly or missing something.
Went into London yesterday to meet up with other 3DS users at London Eye - both consoles just in their foam packing, again sitting together in my bag, (no expedition cases) & one picked up 9 Mii's the other 10, they weren't all the same, which follows what others have said here.
I've only picked up there was a possible problem with this particular PowerA case because we had 2 3DS's - I just don't know, not seen anyone mention anything about cases (apart from Yosher earlier up in this thread) which prompted me to join & post.

Wow, at least two people on this thread live in West Yorkshire, just like me (Farsley, Leeds) we could arrange a walk by for street pass hits. I too picked some up in Leeds city centre - Game near PC World and Gamestation I think. Also got one at work the other day, but belive me, it is more likely that the hit was someone walking past outside rather than someone in my office. The dudes at the Game in Bradford (next to HMV) didn't seem to know how to get street pass working, although I think they may have had their demo model linked to the in-store wifi which may have meant it stayed on internet rather than streetpass mode.

I was reading the manual, and I remember it saying something like 90 meters, but I'll check.

This is a sentiment I can agree with. Will be so happy when I'm out of uni, lol. Never have to go back there <3 Oh god I can't believe they're making a Monopoly edition of the place, it's going to be the most depressing version ever.

I just walked across the entire city of Chicago and didn't get one streetpass. I only have streetpassed one person and that was a demo unit at the store.

I got 3 hits at the mall today. Not sure if all were game stop or not but think one was demo unit for sure. Its has been really buggy for me though. Not sure if I've missed any or not but the other day at work my co-worker got my hit but I got nothing from him for hours till I turned my system off and back on again. I've got at least 8-10 hits from him now and all together 16. So far so good!

I'm finding this game way too distracting. I would much rather be playing it right now rather than working!
