Topic: Home Button...

Might just be overuse, but my Home Button doesn't always respond, forcing me to press it 2-3 more times to return back to the Home menu. It's getting rather annoying having to press it again just to go check your Friends List or use the Internet Browser.

Anyone else getting this?

I guess its another problem of cheap design.

Best way to fix it is to throw it at a wall. So far I've had a 33.48% chance of fixing the problem with this method.

I concur, although my results are closer to the 43.44% range. Of course every time I throw it at the wall, something else breaks and I'm forced to keep repeating the process.

I have the same problem with my Home Button sometimes. I've noticed it's more responsive if you slide your finger over it right-to-left — you should be able to feel the middle of the button and hear a click when it's responded.

I haven't experienced this. Only times my buttons don't respond is the power button.

I got mine on the 25th of June, so far no problems. I don't see how the home button could break, it feels pretty sturdy.

Same problem here, though I'm also having problems with the power button requiring multiple pushes. I don't know if this could be done, but it would be nice if they could make the Home button something you can select on the touch screen.

In all seriousness, it's hit or miss with these odd buttons on the 3DS just below the screen. I find that my wife's HOME and START buttons are both a bit tweaky and sometime require multiple presses. The ones on my (at least so far) are fine, although still not ideal.

My Home Button and other bottom buttons are fine. I have had mine since launch...

^ This happens to me all the time. I'd say I've experienced this problem 13-15 times....I've also experienced the BSOD twice. I've had my 3DS roughly a month.

Nope. Can't say I have a problem with any buttons. I love my 3DS

It's working better now thanks to James' tip. I just have to push it in for half a second and it works.

The Select/Home/Start buttons are nice-ish, but its a pain when they don't respond.

Power Button is getting worse though, have to push it quite hard for it turn off... :/

That's what you get for using cheap plastic crap.
