I don't know much about the technology for holograms yet, but If you combine the glassless 3D from the 3DS, and the kinect, wouldn't you get something like a hologram? this like like the start of the next best thing
I am waiting for something more awesome than the 3DS to come out. long wait. D:

I've been thinking about the same thing. The way I figure it the 3DS and the technology of the XBOX Kincet will indeed pave the way for even greater and innovative things in the near future but holograms are already here. Nevertheless I still plan on buying the Nintendo 3DS and the PSP2.

Well, considering that CNN did an interview with will.i.am via hologram during the 2008 election, I can say we're close enough to attain such tech.

I just got the psp 3000 and then a day later I saw the psp 2 and then i was like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo......o."

@DCDewey, I can't stand the current PSP. Sony is so incapable of being good that it isn't even funny. The PSP 3000 was an ultimate waste of money for me. It sits and collects dust. Nintendo is the best of the best. I'm keeping my fingers crossed with the hopes that the PSP2 isn't a failure.
With SONY saying that the PSP2 is as graphically strong as the PS3 it'll be my greatest delight to see the Nintendo 3DS crush just as the current DS has smashed the PSP in sales.
