Don't you have to pay for the post and packaging? Surely that must be quite expensive shipping it from the UK to Australia... unless you get it free because your part of Europe?
Even with the postage and packaging charges, it's usually still quite a bit cheaper than buying from here.
Well apparently Australia is classified as part of Europe. o_O
@BenAV Sheesh... remind me never to move to Australia, it's expensive being a gamer over there.

Haha, for games, maybe. I think it's really a (mostly) historical thing, as we have always had the PAL broadcasting standard and, combined with being an English speaking country, it was easy for distributors from the UK to branch out to Australia.
And video games aren't too bad in Australia. Sure, they're expensive in actual monetary terms, but remember that Australian wages are pretty good. When I was studying I had a casual job at a newsagency, and would be working for about $30 per hour on Sundays ($20 per hour other days). That's pretty good cash for a 19 year old still living at home, and I never found myself unable to afford games.
Sure, not everyone earns that amount, but on the whole it's pretty good. Our cost of living is higher than many other places, but in terms of disposable income I think Australian games are comparable to other places such as the USA and the UK.
Guys, I praised the heavens when I found out I was making $8 an hour at the only job that ever hired me. I was then fired a month later because they couldn't afford that much. What the heck.
Lol Mickeymac, try not getting a job. I've applied for jobs everywhere and I get refused every... single... time... thankfully I get £20 every week from college IF I go to all my lessons.
I wouldn't mind getting paid £4 an hour, just give me money!!
It's also marked down to $56 rather than $68 which a new game typically goes for.

Holy fu...
You really do live in the most crappiest part of the planet don't you? You poor Aussies.
You're right. I would so much prefer to live in Mogadishu than in Australia. It's not like we earn more than the Americans to buy those more expensive games or anything.

It was already stated before so why do you need to state it again? Or is it you just love pointing out the fact people are wrong and gain amusement out of it?
Ontopic: I wouldn't be surprised if they bump it back to July for everyone, but you never know they might keep true to their original June release, at least for EU, not entirely sure what they'll do for NA or Australia. :/
Usually in Australia we'll get games six days after Europe it seems.
13 days after if we're unlucky (ha, just noticed that then) or one day before if we're lucky.
What else is new? This game has been pushed back a lot. I mean I don't care cuz I already have my pre-orders for this year paid in full, but sorry for u guys who wanted to play it. This is good for me since I'm gonna be playing Lolipop Chainsaw.
The cat's the only cat who knows where it's at.
