You have to go to Lon Lon Ranch as a child, learn Epona's Song from Malon after taking out your Ocarina in front of her, then go back there again as an adult and ride Epona around the stable for a while and jump some hurdles. After one or two rounds, if you talk to what-his-face farmer guy, he'll challenge you to a race for her. Win the race twice and you get Epona!

I love this game, and it is really fun, but I cant figure out how to get Epona! Could someone please help me?
SPOILER ALERT Go to Lon Lon ranch as a kid. Learn the Epona song. Go to Lon Lon ranch as an adult, pay for the horse ride, play the song, mount the horse, talk to the guy at the gate, win the two races and Epona is yours.
