Hi All.
First post, don't know if it's in the right section. Please move if so.
My 3DS was working fine and connecting to my wifi but suddenly stopped yesterday.
I've checked all the settings on the 3DS and the wireless router, they are all ok. Other devices connect fine.
Connection test fails and give error code 003-1099 - could not find access point.
The wifi bar on the 3DS shows 'enabled' and is grey.
When I start moving about it turns green and shows StreetPass enabled. I'm still getting StreetPass hits.
I've tried setting up the wifi again and it can't find the access point despite being right next to it.
I would have thought it would be a wifi card issue in the 3DS but the StreetPass still works.
my router does this from time to time. one device in my house stops getting connection, but it's always solved after restarting the router.... maybe you have to update the firmware of your router?
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

I have restarted the modem, router and 3DS.
The firmware on the router is up to date.
The firmware on the 3DS isn't up to date, I was about to update when I noticed the problem.
The 3DS, as with all wireless devices in the house, is assigned a static IP address.
