I didn't get bored with New Leaf rather I got tired of it slowly trickling out my town. Shortly after hour 20, I just hit a wall. I haven't played New Leaf since June 26th. The game actually made me return to Wild World and made me want to stick with that game. I just wasn't expecting so much of my town to be held back in New Leaf, when both City Folk and especially Wild World have the town there at day one. It has been just too slow even by Animal Crossing standards.
Due to the shortage at work (& the fact i kinda prefer to draw nowadays on mv/AA app) i haven't touched my copy of ACNL for a good month or two sadly.
Loved what i've played (260hrs in) especially going to the island, just chilling & chatting to friends on it & how utterly beautiful & relaxing it is.
Hopefully i'll get back to it but with Pikmin 3 (still in its wrapper sadly) The Wonderful 101, EOIV & Rayman Legends sitting on my shelf, i can't see it happening for a while.

Meh don't get me wrong I like the game but I have lost a somewhat interest in it, yeah I go in there but it's not like before, when the game came out. I was always on it.
Yeah :/
I played the game everyday since June 18th and i loved coming back to it every single day. But now my daily schedule has just become repetitive and boring.
I left the game alone for a more then a couple weeks now, I once came back with the thought of feeling in the mood to play some AC but when I started playing I just felt so bored.. It was just like ''Uuugh.. okay I guess I'll just find the money rock, shake some tree's, dig up some fossil's in hope that I get a new one, see what's new in stores.. probably nothing that interests me -_-'' So I've decided to just play the game every now and then to see how my town is going, seeing the seasons change and join in the special events and holidays except new year cuz I celebrate that with my family
Also, there's just sooo many games still coming out for the 3DS this year and school has begone again and it just all gets in the way as well.

Retro games, Modern games, all AWESOME!!!
The hardest part about going back after taking a break is checking your mail and finding out that a neighbour's had a birthday and you weren't there. Or worse, one of them moved away and you weren't there to stop them.
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
I'm still playing roughly an hour a day. I played for about three hours today and made quite a bit of progress. Last Saturday, I did a lot of things such as building my paths and clearing the area. I also gathered all my flowers and put in right next to my house. There's always something to do and, (I checked earlier today) I have just over 120 hours played on New Leaf.
I have 765 hours logged into the game so far. So no have not lost interest in the game yet lol. Plus 4 houses to totally customize & putting the blue camel to work 24/7 lol with customizing all different types of furniture plus online nah sorry just not bored yet.
Happy Gaming! (^_^)
According to my calculator, between now and the release date, there were about 1944 entire hours between June 10 and August 30. This means that must have played at least NINE hours of Animal Crossing New Leaf A DAY according, also according to my calculator. That's some life you have there.
Were you purposely being ironic by implying someone doesn't have a life after proudly sharing you spent three hours of your day making virtual sidewalks and planting fake flowers?
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.

765 hours and you think that's a camel?
I mean no harm, that's just sort of funny.

Yeah... they're alpacas... (well, at least Reece is an alpaca, I assume that Cyrus is one as well) But they're certainly not camels...
I've been playing this game for about 10 days straight now I love it but one aspect that will get tiresome is shaking all the trees for the 2 pieces furniture! I know it's not compulsory or anything but it bugs me if I don't get them. Otherwise though no I don't see me getting sick of it, such a great game, but as I said it's only been 10 days.

I'm still playing it but has I don't have much time to play it's not repetitive yet. I check every two or three days, talk to people and do different things each time. I understand why people have given up on the game though. The problem these days is that there too many great games and especially on the 3DS. I can see why someone would stop caring about his town to start something else. Anyway, I'm glad it's not my case yet.
I kinda have but I still play this often enough. I just need a lot of money and am to lazy to go out and make it.
Favorite Games: Sonic CD, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, and Call of Duty: Black Ops, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, and Mega Man 5. My Backlog
Sonic is AMAZING!! Nintendo is AMAZING!! I AM AMAZING!!
I'm still putting at least an hour into it every day two and a half months after the game's release, so I guess not.
It helps that I usually have on-going goals/projects that I set for myself, so I have reasons to boot it up every day beyond the usual money rock/flower watering/beetle farming/etc. grind. Right now, for instance, I'm working on creating a bamboo forest in my town's southeast section, a hybrid flower exhibit in my museum's 2nd floor and (slowly) acquiring gold furniture for my house's left room.
I've definitely hit a sort of lull because nothing much is happening anymore. But I'm still waiting on various public works projects, the final expansion of Nook's, and the holiday events, and I'll be as entertained as ever when those happen. It's just that for now, I've accomplished almost everything I've wanted to accomplish. Thankfully, it's not to the point where it pains me to open the game anymore, I still play daily.

Bamboo claimed my town as its own and ruined all motivation I had to play. ;________;
Next time I play, it'll probably be to start a new town. And from there I'll readjust myself to being an addict.

I've just reached the point where I hate my neighbours. Seriously, one has just plonked their house right on top of my path! How is that allowed? I mean c'mon, I'm suppose to be the mayor here, they will be told where they will be put and that's by me.
Bad enough one plonked their house on my trees. Thanks for sitting on my perfect cherry trees you douche bag!
