I long for the good old days, when some gems and a pumpkin would win the affection of a Harvest Moon honey. Now you have to scour the Web to find out how to trigger heart events.

Your not alone, I too find myself yearning for the good old days from time to time. I'm all for the challenging of befriending the frostiest of souls, but why do so many games these days seem to end up outright needing a guide.

RPGs are a huge offender (the tales series is a great example) and so are sim games (The Sims and the entire Monster Rancher series come to mind).

@Konata Well that explains a lot... I thought I just sucked really bad.

Aw you don't suck... That bad Anyway...
Just kidding. I have had the game since Christmas, so I have had a lot of time to get pretty far.

I actually like it. Sure, it gets complicated, but if you live and learn (in my case, save and reload), then you can pick up on subtle hints and get it right.

It adds quite a lot of depth to the experience as well. :3

I've had the game for a week or two. Lemme see...

So I spent 42 hours on this already...

...

...

No regrets.

I have played 70 hours and 43 minutes.
And I loved every minute.

Wow! Well you work fast!
It took me until the middle of Year 2 to get Allen's heart indicator to red. A bunch of the other guys in my town have their heart levels to green. But I was like.
I'm taken Foolios!

I think it's intentionally easier on girls

In all seriousness, most guys (yes, including me a bit) are more or less blind to this stuff. Trust me when I say it takes a while for it to sink in...

For girls it's hard too! (Maybe, maybe not x3.) Bwahaha.
Anyways. I'm trying to decide if I should have a Kid in game, it's more expensive to take trips with your husband/kid if you take them along. But kids don't really do anything except scavenge for you.

Oh whatever! I don't have time to think about trivial things!
I need to spend more time scavenging for items that I obviously don't need :3
(As I mentioned earlier, I'm in a "Weird/stupid" state of mind right now xD.)

^ My mind can't comprehend things at the moment.
Give me a second...

OH I get it now. Sorta....
anyway, in the game even if your the guy, your Wife can have a kid. I know my character could probably have a kid. (I'm putting WAY too much thought into this.)

Anyway, are there any items you need, that I might have for you?
