Topic: Harvest Moon 3D A New Beginning

I am soooo ADDICTED to this game. My favorite game on the 3DS now.
Who has this and how do you like it?

Not yet, but I'll probably pick it up sometime, I like the HM games. I read you can custom make your character which is a really great feature honestly.

Getting this for Christmas! So excited to play this; however, I kind of wish it was also an eShop download and not just retail.

Probably for Christmas, I have to work on several games I recently got as it is. I do love the HM series though and this looks like another addicting one.

So I downloaded the game (getting Pokemon for Christmas instead), and I like it so far; the only issue is that the first month goes by soooo slowly.

I LOVE this game, havent played in awhile cuz my 3ds is broken, but its my favorite 3ds game to date!! I personally LOVE harvest moon and have been a fan since friends of mineral town from '03

@astroshamu this is a really fun game. If you like the building type games i.e. Farmville etc then you will like this.

Has anyone tried playing online multiplayer yet? I haven't tried and I don't know if I should, I'm still kinda confused on what you do..

For multiplayer, you'll select one item to take to the field. All characters will exchange the item. Then whatever animals you can bring, all the players will milk/shear and brush the animals. When you're ready to go home, you talk to the harvest sprite.

I just picked this up yesterday. Am I right in thinking that stuff (seeds, blueprints, etc) will just unlock over time? I keep reading that the first month is really slow. should I pretty much just be planting the two basic seeds I have and picking up junk off the ground?

Can someone help me get honeycomb

I'm in winter now, (so I'm past the first month.)

It is pretty slow, so I suggest taking time to pick a lot of stuff off the ground, and end your day once your done, and do it quickly. I found that if you go to bed really early, the first month with go by like that, and more story line will happen.

Is this good? Might trade in some old games and get this..

@Zylon555 honeycomb is found in Spring and Autumn randomly in the forest area. Hit the hammer tree, check the stock-pile logs, etc. making bee boxes?

I still don't get it why the digital has coins while the retail one don't. I'm now forced to buy the game through eshop since it will be such a waste not to get the 40 coins.

Recently picked this up...great game! It's gonna hold me over until Animal Crossing comes out...and beyond of course
