This year has been awesome for the 3DS! Even in the end with a bad server crash it ended on a positive note. The Eshop Sales were tremendous. I picked up Project X Zone, Bird Mania and Edge just this week once I could get into the Eshop. The 3DS is becoming an RPG heaven system. What a year for RPG's Shin Megami Tensei IV became my favorite RPG of all time. Fire Emblem! Etrian Odyssey Millenium Girl, Project X Zone, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter just to name a few I picked up. Then there are others which were just outstanding! Castlevania, Attack of the Friday Monsters, Star Wars Pinball, Gunman Clive, Bloody Vampire, ATV Wild Ride. Then Sega Showed up to save the 3DS Classics! My favorite out of the bunch is Galaxy Force II, but all of them are so good! Thank you Sega! If I forgot your favorite game By all means remind us!
Next year Starts with a Bang with the Arrival of Bravely Default. I will also be looking forward to Mario Golf and Hopefully Persona Q. Thanks for a great Year Nintendo! Sega! Atlus! Square Enix! Teyon! Aksys! Enjoy Gaming! XSeed! Konami! Capcom! Natsume! Bertil Hörberg! UFO! Gamelion Studios! Joindots! Level 5 (Hope that Fantasy Life Makes it to Europe and North America) G-STYLE! Agetec! If I missed you and I know I did miss some sorry But Happy New Year!

It really has been the Year of 3DS hasn't it?
I am playing PazudoraZ (Puzzle and Dragons). I have put in an embarrassingly insane amount of time on this sugoi game since I received it on Christmas morning.
Looking forward to Pokemon X, Bravely Default (for some reason this isn't downloadable from the Japanese eShop otherwise I would have had it for Christmas), replaying Link's Awakening and playing Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Children for the first time. Thanks VC!
I have been playing
LoZ a link between worlds
Bravely Default (demo but picking this up january 2!)
Project X Zone (a bit repeditive but don't get tedious since I play chapter for chapter with breaks)
Pokemon X
Look forward to
Shovel Knight
Currently playing:
Pokemon X
Bravely Default
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate The metrologgery

I wasn't too impressed with the 3DS in 2013. It wasn't from a lack of good titles to pick up, it was the lack of titles that really caught my interest. I expected a new Metroid and a new WarioWare, two franchises I really love on the Nintendo DS, within the 3DS's second year and still have no experience closing in on the handheld's 3 year anniversary. The DS had both those series represented within its first year, and then added a second Metroid release in its second year. I'm missing those games when I look at my 3DS collection. Then there are games that I expected to get into, but didn't. I put down New Leaf a little after 20 hours and I am struggling keeping my interest in Pokémon X at the moment. I have yet to reach the second gym leader since getting the game on release. Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon was probably the best retail game I played last year, but there too I've only put in one completion. Again, nothing has really engrossed me yet. I hope 2014 delivers that experience, and it has a good chance with the first on-the-go Smash Brothers.
for me 2013 was the best gaming year yet I got tons of games thanks to Eshop(until that thing on Brazilian banks messed all up making me unable to add credits to the Eshop )
this year I got Luigi's Masion Dark Moon and though I found it has 0 replay value the multiplayer made up for it, I went to a 3DS streepass event in the beggining of the year( around 120 streetpass hits and a Mario Kart 7 tournament, it was a blast!!!! I still can't believe I didn't lose to those guys that had the game and some super cool kart parts, but lost to the ones with simpler karts so I was out in the first round ), getting RE Revelations from my cousin in an almost unfair trade(gave him Pokémon Dash since he can't play M rated games anyway it was fair for him and my uncle) then some really sweet Eshop games(Steamworld Dig, Harmoknight, Gunman Clive and some others) came making everything better(college made me unable to play in long sessions, at least until september, so Eshop games saved me since they can be played in short bursts) and to end fantastically I got(in this order) MH3U, FE:A and Pokémon Y all of them months after the release and all of them worth a little more than what I paid for(especially MH3U since I got when capcom did that crazy discount! )
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

@Artwark the 3DS was released February 26, 2011, so the 3DS will turn 3 next month. Personally, I got mine February 12th, 2012. It was my first console I ever got within a year of its release! (I just barely made it, but still!)
this year was the best gaming year for me. I got to play Fire Emblem Awakening, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, Pokemon Mystery DUngeon Gates to Infinity, Mario & Luigi Dream Team, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Pokemon X & Y, Mario Party Island Tour, ALBW and I got Professor Layton & the Miracle Mask from that promo. Also I got to play a new awesome game called SMT IV (first timer to the series). I got some games already pre-ordered for this year, like Super Smash Bros, Yoshi's New Island, Bravely Default and Professor Layton & the Azran Legacies. Can't wait for more on Mario Golf World Tour & Kirby Triple Deluxe.
Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
I wonder if the 3DS will last much longer than the DS......... its been out for three years so I don't want to get disappointed about the new one being announced soon.
