Regardless, Nintendo sequel [...], it'll be released I'm sure.

Are we forgetting the last Fire Emblem sequel?

Sadly, there is no confirmation just yet.
Being a huge Fire Emblem fan, I'm really looking forward to this game, and I'm absolutely sure that Nintendo isn't going to cut us out of this one like they did with the last. There's already a ton of buzz surrounding this game from fans of the old games and newcomers as well, so Nintendo probably sees this as an opportunity to score some good cash.
We will just have to be patient, though, considering that Fire Emblem games usually get released outside of Japan 8-14 months after launch.

There was also a ton of buzz surrounding Xenoblade and The Last Story, and look how Nintendo handled that... Plus, there "isn't a market for those types of games outside of Japan" blah blah blah.

Yeah, Nintendo decided to bring Xenoblade to the other regions, that's how they handled it. According to my knowledge, they're also thinking about bringing The Last Story to some places other than Japan, but not completely sure about it.
The five Fire Emblem games that have been released outside of Japan (Fire Emblem 7, Sacred Stones, Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn, and Shadow Dragon) have sold well in the US, not as well as Mario or Zelda, but well enough to make a good profit, so there is obviously a good enough market outside of Japan for those games.

I think it will be released, and I think I will buy it! Still drooling over those new cut scenes - with this game I won't turn the battle animations off so soon. Its hard to describe, but it makes me feel like I am part of this games history and lore when I see those characters come to life so vividly like that. Its a nostalgic like feeling. Another world for me to crawl into and escape in.

they gave it a limited release after being the only thing Nintendo fans were talking about for at least a couple of months and the unexpected Amazon preorder thing. Try waiting a while before attempting some revisionist history.
