Hey everyone, I can't wait for Fire Emblem for 3DS. However, there's one problem: I don't know I it's been confirmed outside of Japan. All the trailers and stuff are all Japanese and about Japan. So, does anyone know if it's been confirmed for North America or outside of Japan?
Plus, it's going to have Nintendo's first paid DLC.
Sadly, there is no confirmation just yet. Being a huge Fire Emblem fan, I'm really looking forward to this game, and I'm absolutely sure that Nintendo isn't going to cut us out of this one like they did with the last. There's already a ton of buzz surrounding this game from fans of the old games and newcomers as well, so Nintendo probably sees this as an opportunity to score some good cash. We will just have to be patient, though, considering that Fire Emblem games usually get released outside of Japan 8-14 months after launch.

There was also a ton of buzz surrounding Xenoblade and The Last Story, and look how Nintendo handled that... Plus, there "isn't a market for those types of games outside of Japan" blah blah blah.
I don't know I they will release it outside of Japan or not. Sometimes they will release a Fire Emblem outside of Japan, and other times they just stay in Japan. Usually, they release them on handhelds, so it could come.
Plus, Nintendo could have released The Sacred Stones as an attempt to introduce people to Fire Emblem so they would buy more games. It could be so people would buy this.

Misleading title, by the way. Might want to change the exclamation to a question mark. Couldn't tell if it had been confirmed and you just don't have good sentence structure or if it hadn't been confirmed and you just used inappropriate punctuation.

Sorry about that. Typo on my part. It's fixed now.

I'm sure Fire Emblem being one of the ambassador games was Nintendo trying to gain new fans for the series. I would be really surprised if it doesn't make it's way over here.
im sure it will be release no company will pass the opportunity to release fire emblem game to the west or east i forgot what it is over here espically considering DLC scenario is popular and that some people are gulliable to paying for it
so we'll see it over here probably in august, you can quote me on it

to be fair, the only Nintendo games that usually sell are sequels and it took taking over all Nintendo news for like the entire summer to make it a mild success in Europe. And no, the irony of me being a big supporter of Operation Rainfall isn't lost on me.
Regardless, Nintendo sequel, first game with DLC, it'll be released I'm sure.
I'm quite sure the 3DS Fire Emblem will make it the US and Europe. Can you imagine this game NOT coming to the West and it being the first to offer DLC?
As far as I know the first Fire Emblem game released in the United States was the seventh game (Fire Emblem) 2003 in the Japanese Fire Emblem series and so that doesn't give us a pretty good sporting chance but I'm going to ignore the obvious and be optimistic because I really want to play this Fire Emblem 3DS entry.

Regardless, Nintendo sequel [...], it'll be released I'm sure.
Are we forgetting the last Fire Emblem sequel?
The remake of the third fire emblem game didn't make it out of japan because it was likely as much of an absolute butchering of everything good about the gba and/or GC fire emblems (like the first remake...) that they didn't think it was worth the time
