Topic: GTA for the 3DS

Am i the only one who thinks this would do well since GTA Chinatown on the DS received great feedback and that the 3DS is a more powerful system.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. Publishers in general are starting to go away from dedicated portable games platforms in the west. Still, Rockstar certainly delivered with Chinatown Wars, so there's obviously potential for an incredible game there. I just doubt we'll see it if the amount of games in the west being developed for the system are any indication.

GTA Chinatown Wars was actually apparently a success contrary to reports at 1.26 million on the DS. So we actually may see a release. But if it happens, it'll be a long wait.

Seriously though, where the hell is my Bully sequel? That actually would be pretty awesome if placed in college (though it'd have to be M-Rated)

Well, GTA is crazy popular. That and the game had some amazing critical acclaim helping it out.

You spelled "Red Dead 3" wrong.

You want a Red Dead game on the 3DS? That would be disastrous.

No it wouldn't. It says Red Dead in the title and thus that's all that matters.

If GTA reads Red Dead to you, then I want whatever you're smoking. Sounds pleasant. lol

No I meant the title of a hypothetical Red Dead sequel.

It could be just a GTA game though, but as long as it says Red Dead, that would count. Right?

Considering Red Dead is basically a western equivalent to the Grand Theft Auto series, yes.

I hated Red Dead. Bland and boring and the end was just horrible, killing that poor guy off just for drama. Meh.

YES this would most definitely be the most awesome BAD A** game ever and I really hope it happens but I don't think it will, while GTA Chinatown Wars was awesome and it did get amazing reviews it did not sell well on the DS so who knows. If they do give the 3DS a shot then I'm getting that game day one.

Well there was a gta game on both GBA and DS so it would be nice to see a 3ds version, however do we want another overhead or 3rd person...

If iOS/Android can run a third-person GTA, I'm confident that the 3DS can run a 3rd person game on the basis that it has an actual stick.

Remeber when saints row was supposed to be on the 3ds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought GTA Chinatown got rave reviews but crappy sales....

Saints Row and Assassin's Creed were probably canceled due to the early poor 3DS sales.

A 3rd person GTA would be nice. I believe the PSP had one so I know that the 3DS can handle one now.
