Never played an Assassin's creed game before. Is it good?

It seems like the earlier games and III were pretty good. I wasn't a big fan of IV though...

I'm not using Steam whatsoever.

Then I'd recommend getting it set up right away. Amazing games at your fingertips with great sales. Trust me on this.

I have well over a hundred hours on MK7 and will probably have 200 by the end of the year, maybe more. I LOVE MK7. I have AC3 on the Wii U- it's okay, just not as much my style.

Is getting both possible?

Here's the deal. If I see Assassin's Creed at my local Fred Meyer's I'll buy, other than that, MK7. Sounds good?

Both are pretty awful. AC3, while a good game, has next to no replay value, other than running around and killing guards, that's it.

MK7, while still a good game, lacks much replay value, but it still has more than AC3. Most of the new courses I found fun for a few moments, but after a while get rather boring and samey and it doesn't really change up the game all that much. Not to mention the coin grinding, urgh... coin grinding, why? Not fun.

Depends on whether you want a big storyline with a huge free roam playground to run in with hardly any replay value. Or a racer with some decent enough tracks, fairly good multiplayer and some replay value. Entirely up to you. Comparing which one of these to get is like comparing apples to bananas buddy.

Now that's a game I would play.

I just realized Assassin's Creed 3 pc requires a specific CPU and GPU. Damn it.

That would depend on your computer. You need some way to check your computer's specs to what is needed.

I don't want to add on to my computers just to play a game.

http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri try this site
or if you don't trust links posted by strangers post the info on your computer(GPU, RAM and CPU, the CPU's frequency would also be helpful) and the minimum requirements of AC3.

Screw gaming pcs. Really good website! @GuSilverFlame

I just need a new video card....

Here's the new question.
Mario Kart 7 or Video Card?

A $30 dollar video card won't get you anywhere. You'll need about 100-130 to get anywhere, 300-500 if you want to run new and upcoming games at max graphics (I doubt you want to) Just get humble bundles. There should be another one coming up soon.

Video Cards don't cost much if you take the PS4 price vs a sale price for a reasonable amount of AAA's.

You are in profit pretty quickly. (If I paid the PS4 price I would force myself through it even if I didn't like it).

Don't mind buying hardware don't like buying expensive games I don't like. (I still spend tons on games but just get loads more).

I spent about £400 on full price 3DS games last year and I think about 2 or 3 were worth it.

(Starfox 64 3D / Pilotwings Resort / Rhythm Thief on the other hand cost about as much as a VC game and I found much better value.)
