Can't wait to see their next remake.

I want a true 3D ALttP...just imagine that game but on a modern 3D Zelda engine. Open world format, the old dungeons recreated in 3D, bosses with cinematic intros, on the Switch...

Their remakes always tarnish great Zelda games so it's nice that they'll only do that to Skyward Sword for a change.

And I don't know what you mean, ALBW was already literally the same game world and plot points...

I dunno what you guys are talking about, they're clearly working on the long awaited 3rd game in the Legend of Legaia series.

The first sec I saw the title of this thread, I thought Grizzco, from Splatoon, was working on a Zelda game, which would‘ve been weird. That aside, come on Grezzco, give Minish Cap some love! Also, please for Switch and not 3DS.

@GoldenGamer88 They want programmers with Unreal Engine and Unity experience so it definitrly won't be a 3DS game, whatever it ends up being.

I gotta be honest, I'll be legit angry if one of the most boring worlds in Zelda's history is used AGAIN. That's the biggest problem of that game, easily. It's a not great overworld with nothing characters. It is such a shame that ALBW's excellent gameplay, wall mechanics and dungeon design were wasted on such a bland setting (despite their efforts to make it interesting). AND THEN they only reused it for a multiplayer game that's fundamentally different.

2D Zeldas have button mash combat and Pokemon gym-approximate puzzles. It's not even as deep as something like Muramasa or Inside. They should really shake things up, give top down a break for once, go Adventure of Link style without all the jank. If like three people can make 5-hour puzzle games that are that good, then Nintendo could definitely make a 20+ hour 2D Zelda with actually interesting puzzling and graphics.

Probably not Grezzo though, lol.

Anyway, didn't they mention at least once that they'd love to make an original zelda title using the experience they got from remaking the N64 games? So maybe we could be getting a new N64-style zelda game. Probably on the 3DS.

@Meowpheel Liking has nothing to do with it, Grezzo just aren't that talented of developers. They're another port studio that makes weird changes.

I don't like the Nintendo-made 2D Zeldas though, no. I get the feeling that you want me to tell you more about that. I'm also a little hurt, I got a good Skyward Sword dig in there that you seemingly looked right over!

My guess is Zelda II remake for 3DS coming sometime in 2018 further pushing the point that 3DS is not dead yet.

Hold on a minute. I know Zelda is an easy conclusion, but let's take this into account for a moment that:

• Nintendo doesn't own Grezzo, they're a third party company.
• Grezzo's CEO, Koichi Ishii, previously worked at Square Enix and has worked on the Mana series.
• Square Enix is remaking Secret of Mana for PC, PS4 and Vita.
• Square Enix loves remaking their old games.
• The Legend of Mana is also a thing.

Don't be surprised if this ends up being a Legend of Mana remake for PC, PS4 and Vita.

If it's Zelda, I'll buy a Skyward Sword HD so fricken fast. It'd be a great way to wash the unsatisfied taste of BOTW out of my gaming mouth

there's nothing that says it's a Legend of Zelda game. it could be anything. But obviously something that's on the Switch so I don't see why this is in the 3DS section.

@Pokefanmum82 I don't think we even know for sure it's coming to the Switch...

It can go either way switch or new 3ds or both like example Fire emblem warriors.

Grezzo was part of developing the game "Legend of Legacy" so that's my guess. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Legacy

I personally think it could be Legend of Legacy 2 or Tri Force Heroes 2 (which is possible but still unlikely).
