I'm sure they will have some sort of offer, but the problem with that is, if you have downloaded any DSiWare, you will be unable to transfer it to your 3DS, since you won't have it yet. The better thing to do if you really want to trade in your 'i would be to do so after purchasing your 3DS.
Knowing Gamestop, they will probably trick you in to giving away all your games on the DSi by offering a 10 dollar discount on the 3DS.

I'm selling mines to my sister, so if the 3ds does allow dsiware transfer, i can transfer my dsiware games to the 3ds.
You can bet there will be some kind of offer at Gamestop, but I can't imagine it being terribly good. Hard for me to estimate without a firm American price, but something along the lines of DSiXL=$100 off or $80 for DSi. DS Lite would net you like $5 knowing them. It might sound like a good deal for some, but you've got to keep in mind that you'd lose your DSiWare. Unless...
