OOT with a touch screen menu looks awesome, seems quicker and much more natural not having to pause gameplay to access the menu, also can't wait to see how the 3D effect works for myself.

I hope you'll be able to scribble on the map in OoT!While the game's riddles aren't focusing on the map unlike some riddles in PH and ST, it still could be useful if you find a heart piece or a Gold Skulltula you can't reach yet.

Rinku ga kawaii!
The videos also show the blurring effect when you view the screen from a wide angle. I hope the viewing angle in which the 3D works is large enough.
The BIOHAZARD video was really entertaining! The zombie was biting his neck and he was like "wait a sec! Hold up!!" xD And then they were talking about how the shadows look in 3D. And they were both pretty terrified. At the end they were talking about how the graphics are really good. Must have been really impressive!
The motion sensor seems really responsive. o.O More so than the Wii Remote, it seems... The Steel Diver video was cool. The guy loved the game's music haha.
And the guy was giggling like a little girl at the Ridge Racer demo! xD

I'm hoping for this as well. The map system in ST and PH is probably my favorite Zelda innovation since Z-Targeting; it'd be a real shame for them to forget about it now.

It's a result of the screen technology being seen from the side, but it's not how it will appear when viewed face-on. Hopefully the effective viewing angle is large enough that you can at least watch over someone's shoulder and not see any blurring.

@12 If I have it correct. It's locked into their face so it's hard to view it from a different angle. Those two are the biggest dorks to anybody who can actually understand them.

I hate it when the reflection on the 3DS screen blocks my view of the game

@armoredghor There isn't any head tracking in place for the 3D effect, it's meant to be viewed directly from the front. (Head tracking would also require the camera to be on at all times, wasting a lot of battery life.) And really, if you play your DS from the side the screen goes all dark or the colours invert due to how LCD technology works anyway, so it's not that different.
I'm just hoping the viewing angle isn't so small that you move your head slightly and you start seeing double images. Judging from the videos it's actually a pretty big angle.

Not exactly. I recognize your point and the DSi has built a game relying on the face tracking. It didn't seem to get too dark to play but I haven't really played the 3DS so I don't know.

Darn, they're from Youtube so I can't watch them. I've seen the Resi Evil gameplay vid but nothing else.
By the way, Roop, did you find those videos on the 3DS (unofficial) website by any chance?
