Topic: 3DS friend list message censoring weirdness?

Some of these are INSANE! And I thought silly Nintendo censorship practices died in the mid 90s. Some of these I can VAGUELY see, others I have no clue where Nintendo is coming from. I'd love to know what the logic is. You dig deep enough, I guess you can find plenty of slang behind common words. I guess rubber band might get blocked because of the object sometimes called "rubbers" in some places!

Makes me wonder if Miiverse will have such silly censorship.

I don't use the Status message all that much anyway and I haven't bothered to see what it blocks or not, but I do know it blocks blood... never knew that was a swear word...

I literally laughed out loud, that's awesome. Love it when censors corrupt! Oh the irony.

This thread reminds me of a list that went around ages ago of unfortunate web domain choices. To give some examples:
Pen Island
Experts exchange
Therapist Finder
....... very unfortunate

It doesn't block 'Mick' because that is mii name and others use it when posting to me.

They don't want people to share their emails. Helloooo SwapNote.

It won't let you write more than 6(?) numbers, and that's to prevent you from giving out a phone number. You also can't write "@" to prevent you from giving out an email address.

The stupid thing is, you can't share these things in your Friends List, but oh... I can share it in Swapnote... fail.
