Well, it has been a couple of months since "Flipnote Memo" was confirmed by whats-his-name. So I was wondering if I was the only one who thought it was'nt coming out. But then I thought to myself "Duh" its coming out around the holiday season along with some other new games.

I thought swapnote was taking it's place... Although it obviously doesn't have the same level of depth and has no animation capabilities, I just thought that since news of flipnote memo is nonexistent that swapnote replaced it

yeah thats what I thought too. But swapnote is messaging not animation (Not saying that you can't do this on Memo, for many do on its predecessor, Hatena.) And I think Memo's going to be more popular.

is flipnote easyr to communicate then swapnote becuase i hate getting 2k swapnote messages>.>

Maybe we'll see it in Nintendo's September conference if they talk about the 3DS.

@DeMoN-13ruce flipnote is an app(can't really think of what else to call it:P) that allows you to create animations. If you've ever made a few drawings on sticky notes or something, then flipped them all quickly to see them move, that's pretty much what flipnote does. It would be a pain to attempt to communicate with someone through it.

I really really hope that this app still has a future and is not scrapped because of SwapNote. I absolutely loved Flipnote Studio for DSi and I'd love to see a updated version of the app on 3DS with the possibility of 3D animation tools etc.

Doesn't even have to be free, I'll gladly pay for it.

I e-mailed them, and their response was of no sort of confirmation other then "we're working on it"

Alex Schuster has confirmed it. Flipnote Memo is still in development. Think of Swapnote as a evolution of PictoChat (Remember that?)

I have a question is there a time limit in Flipnote Studio.Or can you make animations that are 10+ minutes long?

I think they should just stop jerking us around and make Flipnote Studio DSi available for free on the 3DS eShop. That way, we can still have Flipnote while we wait for Flipnote 3DS. Flipnote 3DS will be an app you have to pay for, but it'd be worth it.

There would obviously be more features to actually make you WANT to pay for it...

I also think they could waiting for the Wii U revelation in September so they can have Flipnote Memo be cross-platform between the 3DS and Wii U.

Exactly what I was thinking.
For a new feature, I would love more colours. The DLC possibilities are endless.

I loved the original Flipnote and so really want Flipnote Memo to come out soon.

Flipnote Studio was the best thing on the DSi,so I would love a 3ds Sequel.

It's no big loss if it stay's off the 3ds.

It was ok at first but then after a while the same old crap spammer's, scammer's, people complaining over colored star's, people hacking into other peoples accounts & just alot of other drama on there etc.

I refuse to re-download it back on my old dsi for just to many reason's & quit a good while back from using that app but bottom line the app is more of a head-ache then it's really worth.

When nintendo can fix stuff on there & can really make it a worth while app then I'll consider it maybe but from all the stuff I saw on there from a few year's ago personally just not impressed & just not worth the head-ache's.

NO. I would never want this game. Not after the terrible mess that Flipnote Studio was to control, and how annoying it was to search for flipnotes. And those stupid spammers and people asking for friend codes also hurt the experience for me.

I'll stay with Colors 3D for now.

Flipnote Studio is the best free application Nintendo has ever made. I had loads of fun with it, online isn't even needed IMO. Take that out for all I care, I just love making the Flipnotes. Such a simple and easy way to be creative,
