You people and your "It's stupid that it was censored" crap. The necklace could have been from a mermaid, for all anyone cares.
My example was only a small ridiculous censorship. But I don't like the idea of some morality police (state or company) messing books, movies, videogames up because of some stupid political or religious concerns. I just want to experience a videogame in the version it was originally meant to be by the developers. So why should I be happy about censorship made by other people who want to force their moral values on me? They have just no right to decide what's appropriate for me to read, to watch or to play.
Are you the same guy who complained that the Rocko's Modern Life DVD set sucked because it was censored?
Never heard of Rocko's Modern Life! But if I were a fan of that movie or TV show it certainly could have been me.

Yes, it does in the German translation. I don't know the Japanese text. The German translator (Claude M. Moyse) was notorious for his sometimes really strange translations (especially Link's Awakening and Secret of Mana). Unfortunately his works differ extremely from the original so I prefer the English translations nowadays (until I learn Japanese). I guess this sentence is the best proof for his very free translations:
