Capcom will be among the first publishers to offer demos to 3DS owners. The company announced today that a demo of Monster Hunter 3G will be available for download shortly via the Nintendo e-Shop. The company did not provide a specific time for availability.
Yesterday, Konami announced a demo for New Love Plus, to be released first through 7-Eleven's new 7-Spot download service on 12/8, with general e-Shop release following.
The New Love Plus demo will come with a 30 play limitation, meaning after 30 plays you won't be able to play it again. The same 30 play limitation will apply to the Monster Hunter demo, according to Capcom's announcement.
Its better than nothing but the 30 plays then no more seems stupid.
WAT!

Why don't we ever get nice demoes? I bet you the first demo we get will be some Imaginez game or whatever that we already know is crap like most of the DS demoes were.
Oh come on. Please bring the demo here. Nintendo can make it so the player fills out a short survey or 3 questions on the eShop to let us know if they liked it and would buy it. It'd be a great way for Capcom to see if it's worth localizing.
Once again Nintendo is far behind Sony and Microsoft when it comes to online infastructures. If the Wii U doesn't match PSN or Xbox Live, then a lot of gamers will be pissed. Why couldn't Nintendo get some 3rd-party help when making the eShop? EA is willing to help with the Wii U, but Nintendo seems content to do things on their own with the 3DS.
just give us Kid Icarus demo with no limit. and put in some online on the demo too... MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Wii U online games:
Injustice Gods Among Us, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edge, Assassin's Creed III, Tekken Tag Team Tournament 2 Wii U Edition and Trine 2: Directors Cut
3DS Online games:
Kid Icarus: Uprising
Tell me if you want to play :)

Hmmmm... 30 plays, that seems fine to me I suppose. I have DSiware and Wiiware I have probably played less than that so if I play a demo 30 times I reckon im going to buy the game. I hope we get the Monster Hunter demo over here, but at any rate if Capcom are already planning demos then I would expect a new Revelation demo.

They're getting there. eshop update this month. Communities in Mario Kart 7. A single friend code. Demos.
I just hope Nintendo does this demos thing right. They really ought to demo their own games too and not just games from third parties because, yes, Mario and Zelda are usually almost all winners but some Nintendo IPs (I'm looking at you, Star Fox) are acquired tastes that should be sampled before being purchased.

Once again you make some random point that you don't connect to the topic of the thread.
Are you all honestly this upset over 30 plays? I think that's a little generous, considering these companies want you to buy the full game instead of playing the demo indefinitely.

I have not the slightest idea how this has anything to do with the topic at hand. Did you get lost in the forums?
Anyhow, I think this is quite generous enough. 30 plays is pretty good to get a good feel of the game. Mostly, Nintendo's just trying to prevent people getting demos and playing them infinitely while they never get the actual game. If they didn't, it'd be setting themselves up for loss of sales. Makes sense.
