Beat Paralogue 4 & Chapter 10, now. Yeah, the rain effects on 10 were awesome (I'm really impressed how detailed & epic they've made the set pieces, despite the fact they're technically just grids).

Unfortunately I didn't get to hear the music though, as I kept the volume down in consideration of the others in the room at the time.

Gotta quick question, in what part of the game is the "boingy bits" conversation between Nowi and Tharja?

Also, thanks to @theblackdragon for steering me here.

Yeah, it's my favorite 3DS title.

It just keeps getting better!

Beat Chapter 11 earlier tonight! Man, although no one died, that may have been the most intense battle yet.

If the rest of the game is going to have this kind of difficulty, I don't know if I'll be able to beat it, lol (I know to expect a gradual difficulty increase, but it seemed it really spiked here. Probably because it was a milestone in the game's story, though).

It was great though, finally beating it

@RR529 - I think this is the music you missed.

I almost forgot, this one starts the chapterand you likely missed it too.

@WhoBeThat - I think that was Summer Harvest Scramble.

Yeah, that's where I lost my entire army in classic mode.

No joke.

LOL

Trust me, it get's INSANELY ( for me, anyway) hard on chapter seventeen.

I like your avatar by the way.

@Aqueous Thanks!

Beat chapter 13 today, and 4 Paralogue chapters popped up. However despite the last Paralogue chapter being 4 (3, 2, & 1 before it), these were marked as 8, and the others in the teens.

So what's up? Is it really okay to do these Paralogues now, and if not, why did they pop up now? Were the other numbers skipped because they're DLC?

Certain paralogues pop up due to units marrying and having children. i would make sure the skills I want my child to have are passed down BEFORE doing these paralogues. But either way children are powerful units

@RR529 Well, after (SPOILERS) you defeat King Gangrel, whenever a unit get's married you unlock a paralogue. Each paralogue like that has their child from (MORE SPOILERS) the future, like Lucina.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

@RR529

I wondered the same thing myself, I beat Paralogue 20, and I unlocked Paralogue 4, after I married Stahl and Panne.

The numbers on Paralogues 5-17 mean virtually nothing. After the fourth one, they just unlock after one of your female characters is married, thus unlocking the map to gain their future child. Perhaps the higher the number, the tougher the Paralogue, but I can't remember. Been so long since I played one of those paralogues.

Paralogues 18-23 are Spotpass maps, and that's why you've likely beaten many of those before unlocking previous paralogues.

Ah, thanks for the answers.

So far I only have:

  • Link (avatar) & Sully
  • Stahl & Miriel
  • Chrom & Sumia (game married them)

Working on Ricken & Tharja, though.
