I've watched all the cutscenes again (after you beat the game you can see them whenever you want, plus listen to the soundtracks, which is nice), and now that I've taken my time to fully enjoy them (I was rushing though the game, so I didn't really fully pay attention since I wanted to know the full story ASAP to avoid spoiling), I have to say the animators did a fantastic job. The style and detail is just downright breathtaking.

@TenTen personally Fire Emblem trumps Animal Crossing.
You take that back >:0
You can't take the truth back.
Priceless ^__^
I think a Fire Emblem vs. Animal Crossing flamewar would be as hilarious as it would be unlikely.
I personally have always wanted to take a Silver Lance to Tom Nook's gut...
Who's with me?
-Raises hand- He gets on my nerves. I CAN'T BUY A FREAKING FISHING ROD WITHOUT HIM ON MY ARSE. Anyway, I just married Chrom and Sumia. I'm about to marry Lissa and Avatar. P.S. How do you repair weapons?
So I tried the demo, and I've come to a conclusion.......
I'm getting this game.
The question is how? Do I want a physical copy or should I go digital? I have a 32GB card in my 3DS, meant for such a case but not used as such other than Ambassador and eShop-only games. Then again, I'm fond of physical copies because of the accompanied case/manual/etc, even though I carry most of my physical games in my 18-card case from Club Nintendo. I'm hearing though that stores are going out-of-stock with it, so I'd either have to go looking around, or wait on restock. Digital would be easiest and fastest, but it doesn't have that feeling a physical copy gives. I can't decide. I'm not one that sells any of my games (I still have my N64+games sitting in my closet for years on end), so that reason alone can be taken out of the list of disadvantages for digital.
I went digital because it was all sold out. Their's no difference between physical and digital, so the only reason I'd buy physical would be for the box, so can you live without the box? Personally I'm glad I went digital rather than waiting for my copy, but if you're really big on the boxes and manuals then you may just wanna wait a week (or so) for a physical copy.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.
@Everyone who answered Thanks. @CrimsonFire13 Same here. Around January 20th-21st I went online to pre order it from gamestop. Then I called them up and found out you can only pre order from gamestop IN-STORE(Which is just stupid) so the next day I go to gamestop to pre order and the guy's like "we're out of pre orders" so I'm like fine, I'll just pick it up on release. February 4th I walk in there, and they're all "well you shoulda pre ordered" So then I left. Friday I was out bowling with friends and we stoped by WalMart before we went home. I go to the 3DS case, and RIGHT THERE was a SINGLE copy of the game. Needless to say I bought it. I think I'll use WalMart from now on, since you can actually pre order online.
@Discostew: How many people in your home do you have wanting to play this game? If you all use separate save files, you can set up your StreetPass information on each of your 3DSes and help grind your party via StreetPass unit battles. If you don't want to fight, just have them put Frederick into their party so you can buy Silver Lances from them, haha. waiting and purchasing a physical copy to trade back and forth has actually been quite a big help for myself and my husband thanks to StreetPassing! :3
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3
[16:43] James: I should learn these site rules more clearly
[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
@theblackdragon - Well, I'm the only one that has a 3DS in my family, and am the only one that actually plays it, so I wouldn't gain that advantage a shared physical copy would grant. I think I'm going to go digital with this purchase, mainly because of the unlikelihood of me ever selling it, which is the main draw for physical purchases nowadays in the used market....plus I'm too late anyways for any possible pre-order bonuses.

Ugh. I want this game but I have to wait until Amazon gets more copies.
The guy at Target said they sold out almost immediately and I don't feel like checking the stores every day so I just have to wait.

yeah idid that too i went and preordered it but they couldnt accept any more preorders
Alright so, what exactly happens if Lissa dies? Like does the story change at all?
I can't imagine Chrom not acknowledging her dying like in a cutscene or something.
I haven't had one of the main characters die yet, so I'm wondering how it affects the overall story and its various scenes after that. Is there just an empty space where they would have stood had they not died?
