Topic: Fire Emblem first 3DS game to feature paid DLC

Yes you read right, Fire Emblem will be the first (1st party anyway) game to feature premium DLC on the 3DS platform. How do you guys feel about this? Discuss.

I'm sure Nintendo will do this right. As long as the base Fire Emblem software is as long (or even longer) than previous Fire Emblem games, and as long as the DLC adds something like a new story, then that's great. Making the base Fire Emblem shorter just to add DLC isn't right. Making the DLC just of some new items/enemies/characters etc. just to add to the main story wouldn't satisfy either, to be honest.

But I trust Nintendo to do this right.

(And before the "Nintendo said they'd only do free DLC" argument comes up, Iwata said they were interested in paid DLC but only if it was meaningful and "extended the shelf life" of the product.)
