Topic: Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition

I have a question. I've been looking constantly online but I can't find online retailer or store who offer a pre order for fire emblem fates special edition. I was wondering if any one has any idea of when Nintendo might make more available.

Check that site throughout the day, or turn on the alarm function. It's how I managed to preorder mine, as well as getting many of my amiibo.

If you're in the UK/Eur you'll have to wait til it's got a release date.

Like me, you're probably out of luck at this point. I wanted to pick the special edition up too but I wanted to wait until after the holidays in case I got gift cards. I guess that was a bad idea. Although I'm going to give the nowinstock.net a try.

@DarthNocturnal: I'm fairly certain that it was available but when it is available, it's sold out everywhere very quickly...like in hours!

It sucks! I don't usually buy special editions, and the pouch and art book are nice but not necessary. I want the SE because it comes with both versions + the Revelations; and it's my understanding that Revelations will not be available to DL right away so by getting the SE, you get access to it earlier. Maybe I misread something though.

@DarthNocturnal: assuming we get the same release as in Japan, here is the content:

• the two If/Fates games inside the same 3DS game card (I hope there will actually be enough place for both games multiple european localizations),
• a download code for the third scenario (aka "Revelations" here),
• an artbook,
• except we won't have the Fire Emblem 0 trading cards booster. (well, I suppose ^^)

Every description of it I've seen has said that all three campaigns are on the game card for NA. Unsure about Europe.

Really glad I preordered this as soon as it was announced, considering how crazy rare it seems to be.

The western version apparently has all 3 campaigns on the card

Weird, the European special edition didn't seem to be available anywhere.

I think it's because no releade date was given for Europe. Preorders will probably come available once we know the release date.

I think I'm glad I put in a pre order for this. I seldom do that anymore but it showed up on my twitter feed and I decided to get it just because.

I hope that the European release won't be too far away from the North American one. Those two or so months of extra wait for Awakening sounded like a lot already, although fortunately I still didn't own a 3DS so I didn't technically have to wait for it at all.

I bet the amount of text is quite something this time around and four/five extra languages do take their time, but the game has been out in Japan since summer, so I don't see why it couldn't get the same treatment - or similar - as Xenoblade Chronicles X, which has a massive amount of text all things considered.

And more than anything, I hope I won't be, like, five minutes late and miss out on the Special Edition forever.

I hope I get the Special Edition, XCX's was out of stock in around two minutes in the store where I shop. I know it is a limited edition, but Nintendo really should print a little more stock because checking websites every 5 minutes is annoying. If I don't get the SE, I'll just stick with Conquest and buy Revelations.... Maaaaaaybe get Birthright down the road.

How the hell do you sell out of preorders? Preorders should be a guideline for production...
