I got seriously shocked there!!!!! Do you realize that Fire Emblem is one of my personal favorite franchises out there since I got Awakening?!?!?
This April fools joke can't be taken as a joke. Firstly, NoA hasn't done a proper instruction manual for Fates. It doesn't even have the more detailed information unlike Awakening ( and even that game doesn't have much detail for the instructions) A game like Fates needs to sell well and NoA didn't make any attempt to provide proper instructions for the game!
Also, what the hell? Why is it they can't do it on something like Metroid? a series that's just now more niche than Fire Emblem? What the hell was NoA thinking off putting a stunt like that angering the userbase like that?
And the worst part is that I can't even find the damn tweet! >:<
Is that the real Nintendo of America Twitter account? I'm surprised they went along with things in this way, as much as it is obviously April Fools stuff. Imagine if this was about Metroid Federation Force

It's photoshopped, twitter only allows 140 characters (letters, numbers, spaces, apostrophes etc) tweets. Before I even read it I realised it was a fake because of long it was.
That is the most obvious April Fool's prank, ever.
Care to explain how it was obvious?
It was obvious (a) because Fates has sold really well so only an ignoramus would get suckered in by the thread title, especially on 01/04, and (b) the English in that fake Tweet is of poor quality - Nintendo's quality control is better than that.
If you're going to bother mocking up a fake, at least pay enough attention to the details to make it worth your while.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
The fact that you posted in a previous thread about whether you were able to post April Fools day threads or not was a big clue. Alongside the obviously fake tweet that was too long, and was also nowhere to be found on the Nintendo of America twitter page.
@Detective_TeeJay: @arronishere: Yeah, screw me for not being able to take things as a joke right? After all, NoA is partly the reason why Fire Emblem or even to the likes of niche games like Xenoblade can't sell that huge compared to Japan in the first place. I mean if Fates could sell half a million in Japan, then how is it a problem getting that same amount in US?
That is too bad. I enjoyed the series. I thought things were getting better for the series
I know, right, well what you gonna do I guess, I noticed a large quality drop in the series so maybe it was for the best for Nintendo to put the series out of it's misery. Hopefully Nintendo has more time to worry with F-U-Zero now.

Maybe they can put that effort towards a new Advance Wars, that series has more guns and so more Western appeal.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
